To be completely honest, my least liked suggestion is Renegade: Commando. It just sounds...... I dunno.. weird. It doesn't fit. That Project Regenesis is definitely the best.

I love that Project Regenesis idea, however it just doesn't have that special "ring" to it. However, it has my vote for sounding the coolest. Maybe we can play on words a bit? Project Renegade: Regenesis ..or something.

EA has always been good with the modding community. They don't mind, and I don't see why they should mind, if you use the C&C name... The only thing they really care about is if they charge people money to play the mod.

The way I think of it is like how Bungie took some of the maps from Halo and put them into Halo 2 all new and transformed like.

Do maps, or should maps have the same climate as they did in Renegade? Like for example, in Renegade, Walls was a desert map - is it ok, or would it be allowed for it to be maybe a snow map in a concept? This is just a question, not that I am actually working on anything.

That was the reason they canceled Halo Gen. Because if there was a free RTS version of the game available, no one would bother to buy Halo Wars, which I think looks pretty cool, even for a 360 RTS.

O_o If I only had a scanner, I would of loved to enter that map concept art contest... cause the only good thing I feel I'm confident in conveying a concept sketch with is with a pencil and paper. :\

Fobby, I remember you posting somewhere that you contacted Apoc recently and he had forgotten who you where. However I can't find the post to quote it. But anyway, I was thinking, EA gave you guys their approval of this mod while Predator was the community manage (during that stupid Apoc stunt)(Yes obviously Apoc and Pred are the same person) However, you don't suppose Apoc was just saying he had forgotten or didn't know about it because he wasn't the "person" to approve it? You know just playing innocent to make that entire Predator stunt "believable." Just a thought.

Make it Renegade08, not Renegade 2008. Because it sounds kind of weird when you say it. Renegade 2008... Renegade 2008... Ren 2008 Doesn't roll off the tongue as much as Renegade08. Or Ren08.

I might get it after Christmas if I feel like it. If not, sometime mid-next year... I mean, I don't really want the game, but I have to get it sometime in order to play the mod.

Or how about Command & Conquer: Renegade: The Extermination Cause the "The" makes it sound epic.

It isn't my fault that most of the words I find start with an R... I'm trying not to use R, but I can't help it.. :\ I was thinking about new names without the "Renegade" part, but then people wouldn't realize what the mod is about first hand. C&C Commando is good, but people won't know it is a Renegade mod right off the bat. They would probably think it is some generic C&C mod in the UT3 engine based around the commando.
