It isn't my fault that most of the words I find start with an R... I'm trying not to use R, but I can't help it.. :\ I was thinking about new names without the "Renegade" part, but then people wouldn't realize what the mod is about first hand. C&C Commando is good, but people won't know it is a Renegade mod right off the bat. They would probably think it is some generic C&C mod in the UT3 engine based around the commando.

OMG, that name would be PERFECT for this mod.... to bad that it is already used. But, on that state of mind, here are some more name suggestions: Renegade: Reawakening Renegade Revival Renegade Renewal

Renegade Evolution Renegade v2.0 Renegade Divergence Renegade Metamorphosis Renegade Rebellion Renegade Revision Renegade Defection Renegade Unborn (Not trying to be funny) Renegade Ulterior Renegade Ultimate (or some other form of the word) Or maybe use a Thesaurus and replace the word Renegade all together.

The podcast was totally awesome. The descriptions you gave for why you picked Renegade to be a mod made me want to turn off the podcast, boot up Ren and play all night 8) But I thought it was really well put together. A lot of info, and a lot of funny parts (Release at the same time as Reborn )

I don't think they are anywhere NEAR releasing the mod...

Will you guys be hosting anymore podcasts in the future? And if so, will they be question-answer podcasts like this?

Was this asked already? Not sure: Are you going to get the game controls (or defaults anyway) the exact same as they where in Renegade? And on that note, are you going to include the radio commands CTRL, ALT, and CTLR+ALT 1-0 ? If yes, you are including them, are you going to remake the radio sounds ("Building Needs Repairs!") or are you going to rip them from Renegade and put them in the mod?

I like your work.

That might be a good idea to recruit people with more experience in this engine... the only downside I see is that they probably wont have any idea about Renegade... and therefore not be able work very well. Things like this would happen: "Oh... it's like that? That is stupid.. it be much better like this" And seeing as this mod is trying to be as close to Renegade as possible, there isn't any room for doubts like that.

I think this would be cool, and also help reduce chatter in the game if there are a lot of people with VoIP. There are different divisons, Armored Division, Infantry Division, ect and each of those divisions each are able to chat with each other by default over VoIP. However they would be able to talk to the entire team with the press of a button. So when your an infantry, you hear people talking in the infantry division, when you enter a vehicle, you hear people talking in the armored division. Just an idea I thought of that could/could not help. I thought it be cool, but it isn't important. Is it even possible to make?

-When I play Renegade, and drive around in faster vehicles.. I notice that there isn't really any "realistic gravety" You guys going to make it make it better in the mod, or keep it how it was in Ren? -Can we expect to see any modifications or addons (even small ones) to any remake maps? Like new areas, ect. -Are there going to be player controlled harvesters? Or only the AI one like in Ren's default maps. -I know your trying to make this mod as close to Renegade as possible, but what can we see in hopes of any positive changes. I.E Bug fixes, balance between units, unfair team placement (B2B, for example) ...thats all I got for now.

How can clients get the models and stuff? It just doesn't magically appear... they would need to download them.. and that would take a while.

So basically, the entire mod can be contained in a map? How big is the filesize of the map? Would it take a while to transfer?

It is a mod about that copies Renegade. If they start changing things like that, then the mod won't be Renegade anymore. And that error your talking about is a VIS error, which is a thing of the past.

Your case is different, your not even in the same league graphics card version, so it is better for you. The problem for me is that it is only 1 version below recommended specs. >
