  4. I think most of this is volunteer. Just find a project to do and complete it don't wait for someone else to tell you otherwise probably because A: you won't like it and/or B:you won't/don't have the experience

  6. I found one when you charge up mobys volt rifle and reload at the same time the gun turns into a lightsaber (not really) and doesn't pose any threat whatsoever as far as I know
  7. I think this was for me. I was trying something on reservoir and got good response so I quit and stood there. not soon after gdi whacked us I got da hammer. I should've tested on skirmish but I was clearly told not to do this stuff on the server so..

This is just a quick blurb but I'm on eyes atm trying to find glitches... and I just discovered while I was exiting the apache right at GDI base next to a particular rock wall I literally fall out of the apache, hit the ground like a belly flop(splat!!) (now I've got Godmode on right now too) I raise up, rub my head, look around, and get back up to fight again. But the animation is very precise to exactly that like I push myself up I don't know any other way to describe it I can't post a video of it I don't know how but has anyone else discovered little odd things like this? For some reason I can't screenshot it either. I get a black renx 32bit black screen. Also I get a 3rd person glitch where I only see my gun and arms. I am a rifle soldier too. So ya I did find a glitch!!
  10. hah! yes let's not forget what we are playing here. This is unreal tournament 3 just modified in such a way to represent C&C Renegade how easy it is to forget something.. Okay so @Havoc89 you say these files have to be connected and so theoretically it would work in custom maps.

  12. Sorry I am in a rush atm. But I wanted to provide you with my first design which was made in AutoCAD and textured in maya. No collision I'll upload pictures later. Again I have to model in Maya in which I have a lot to learn shall I take on anything else. Thanks again!

  14. Hey guys. I'm gonna leave this here - how to get this object into UDK? Import it when you're in UDK with the import button. This is the version I have atm. Also I'll have to redo this in Maya as there was a SHIT TON of unused verts,edges,faces I had to delete. Went from 27k verts down to 16k? so ya don't use autocad for your modeling I am also aware that there is a bit of error near the windows. I accidently deleted some faces for the window frames. I will fix it at a later date due to other things. I apologize. Also this Model is mainly for background/foreground décor as the strategies haven't been planned out too much actually little to no planning at all but do let me know what you think.   15. Interesting TK. KIra says good point too. you can make anything you can dream of and insert it into this. I would love to see stuff like this make it into your own maps, and all these crazy ideas. I am trying with Maya atm as I'm learning to do new things and figure out what things work best with UDK and so on. For instance, I reversed geometrical faces on an object in maya and when I imported it into UDK I was able to see inside said object but not see out of. Very easy thing to do but what can I/someone else use that application for? that's where I'm stumped I have many and no ideas
  16. I saw how it was done in reborn? the vehicle would complete an animation just prior to "going underground" which the unit actually just went into stealth/god mode and then would pop up wherever and do another animation transition prior to that.
  17. there's a reason why anything that's "public" isn't the best.. you get all this shit. 3 wholes pages of shit and many people trying to come to terms with it. I like how people take this game seriously - I know I do. It reminds me of Halo 2 modding days on the first xbox - samething kinda. Godspeed.
  18. you're right, I agree. and yes. ultimately I have a map idea in mind that will have these structures. More than likely I'm afraid I'll run into the same roadblock I am in with the temple... but yes a capturable/destroyable tech center.
  19. I should be doing something else atm but just a quick redo of the center. Tried to get close to the TD vers. let me know! Refinery for scale. So it's built and designed like this. 3 cones - some large height - cut off from some distance from the ground - added in 3 rectangles for rooms - a mixture of 3 cylinders and 6 spheres for the 3 domes - 3 cylinders for pipes. I also subtracted some height from the structure to add the ledges you see in the TD version while they may be high walls I made them so as infantry can still shoot over them. Also - note the texture quality mine's so puny!!! oh well I think it'll look pretty cool Nod captured Tech Center* (question: would something like this be kismet?)

  21. AMAZING! fucking eh. You gotta do a cosplay outfit or forget the idea of cosplay and just create some private line of clothing or just strap this to your duffle bag or your denim jacket. so badass! the tail is pretty spot on too

  23. here it is when I import it. ended up being smaller than I wanted it but flame tank and officers for scale and UDK basic land cube for scale too. never mind the glitched out roof I have yet to union the pieces in CAD
  24. I feel like If I don't do this then I feel something's wrong or something and when I mean this I mean posting it here other than keeping it to myself... Anyways as planned because this is in my line of things to do here's my version of the tech center. There will be 3 sections: 1: prison (smaller section) 2: science research( either medium or big) 3: not sure yet. Doing this in CAD again and my reason for that is I can't seem to find the functions I need in order to design such items in Maya. Since the only two progs I have atm is maya and autocad. With autocad I am able to erase certain portions of shapes with other shapes and that allows me to EASILY configure a certain space. Beware expect the same quality and outlook as the temple* This is just a snippet, started on it today. I will design this much like I did with the Temple with various rooms and new things you can expect to do inside a building like this.
