  1. The announcer (EVA/Cabal) can only message your own team's buildings coming under attack. At those messages we can drop the Nod or GDI part before building name to have faster audio cues.
  2. Hmm, that made me think, what about an seperate purchasable gadget, 'power tool' that can be used for this purpose. Or better yet give that extra function to rep tool with double ammo drain mechanic as repair gun of engineers has infinite ammo. Building staying on indefinitely due to people constantly repairing inside would be annoying, via rep tool can limit that a bit.
  3. In Twisted Insurrection GDI has an hover apc that you could use to fly over enemy tanks like that. It doesnt do that there though. Mmh, you are using it wrong if taking apc as battering ram to break into an sieged frontdoor. An more suitable window of opportunity to slip in would be the tight time-frame right after the battle has commenced, while defenders thoughts are still busy alternating between 'wtf did just happen' and 'omg restock vehicelz!1'. That being said, APCs could use an measure that would help them versus anti-vehicle mines, as only two or three of them is enough to stop the Apc in its tracks ruining the 'stunt into base as c4 kamikaze party' effort. This measure could come in the form of an flat damage reduction towards anti-tank mine damage. An inbuilt forward firing smoke launcher could be neat too. Think of like Apc gaining smoke grenade. Another thing i had thought is giving APC rank elite and above an speaker, that when activated as an ability projects an aura around the vehicle which functions similar to those of GenZh Troop Crawler's. As an bonus it would play Ride of the Valkyries for GDI and Hellmarch for Nod when active.
  4. Commanders could have an 'emergency powerup' power that gets available once the pp is dead. When used powers up the agt/obi and reinstates normal pricing on stuff for duration. It could either be an toggle that drains command points while active or simply an timed global faction buff. Another thing is to try installing backup generators into agt/obi that continue providing power for the first 10-20(needs test) sec after pp destruction, that will ensure the tower not suddenly becoming useless in middle of rush, assuming attackers properly coordinated and timed their efforts an wave would be rolling in the moment pp falls.

  8. Ive seen people going forwards and shooting backwards. (prolly graphical glitch) Disconnected from server, within few minutes client closed itself as i was looking for new server to join. I see the issue a bit different, Sydney/Raveshaw should suffer in mobility becoming heavy infantry, so cant happily hop around and dart across the field while having an anti-everything weapon, their movement becoming similar to LaserChainGunner's. For mobility there is already Havoc/Sakura as Antipersonnel loadout.
  15. Maybe we could add an feint targeting laser to the ramjet snipers, where do i have feeling newbies would complain again anyways. That you are simply getting shot by multiple snipers coordinately at the same time is more likely than a cheater onboard. Sorry, but that complaint is increasingly sounding like an 'gitgud' issue to me.
  16. You'll have to make sure one beacon cant get multiple buildings. The idea i had was, that if you open an shore at the sea-side of bases can generate enough free spot to place the nod runway rotatingly, to eliminate the cramped nod base problem. The control tower would be where nod ref is in screenshot 2, with runway placed like -, the nod refinery would be where air tower is facing this way: -> in accordance to screenshot.
  17. I can foresee an GDI ref getting arty shelled from afar, try to put partial wall before it. You can give an bird's eye view shot of each base so can tell how to reorder base buildings. I sense the layout could have been done more meaningful. Ref + free silo in base may end up providing way too much income. Its better idea to give the silo along middle of map in neutral ground so the sides can fight over the extra income.
  18. The idea was a bit different initially in my head: The match would start without timer, the first time an base-building dies an generous timer would kick in, every other non-defence building destroyed substracts from time remaining.
  19. What about an dynamic timer, that gives more time when a building dies. You have initial 1.5 hour and each destroyed building gives +15 min to the game's timer.
