We already included the Strip and Light Tank (and Stealth Tank and Artillery and Soldier and SBH) in previous updates so we're not including them again because they're not newly finished assets. @UnitXc: If Havoc tries to make it turn like a wheeled vehicle I will stab him. It's okay for the Artillery because it is a slow, ranged, support vehicle, but the APC is a fast front-line unit and its maneuverability is very important. Changing that dynamic would be unacceptable because it is too much of a departure from Renegade where both APCs have the same maneuverability. @Sonic: Thanks!

  6. It'll have the little pilot flames in front of the blowers and an idle flame drip. Those are done in the editor though, not Max, hence why they aren't in the render.

  10. What are some Taiwanese (or any Asian) C&C sites? It's fairly easy to find the ones in Europe, but I find it harder to find the ones in Asia.

  12. Depends. Can the doors be animated to open? Is there an interior? If the doors can't open and there is no interior it would only be 5 objects. The body, and then the 4 tires would be separate.
  13. Well anything that moves has to be its own part (like the turret has to be separate from the chassis, the wheels have to be separate, etc.). But yeah anything that is solid could be made from one object. Sometimes it is more efficient to use more than one object though.
  14. Extract the files to your My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps directory (or whatever the equivalent of that is in Vista). They'll show up on the appropriate gametype screen.
  15. EA already has rights to the Unreal Engine. Tiberium was powered by Unreal technology.

  17. Fired it up to have a look around and didn't encounter any bugs really. Didn't playtest it with bots though.
  18. I think his point is that all of that stuff happened while DNF was stuck in an endless development cycle, and yet 3D Realms couldn't pull off a release.

  24. Magic. With every download copy of Renegade-X we will distribute instructions on how to build a Dousing Rod of Connection Superiority and the enchantment spells that will open the server window interface. Then you select a server, finish the enchantment spell (involves sacrificial blood) and start playing. :lol: But really though, You can either browse through UT3's server list or direct-connect if you have the server connection info.
