you could try to upgrade the the Microsoft.NET Framework to the latest version, seems you missing some files there ...
(I am not a pro here, but also seems you use a very old version)

Showing enemy beacons on the radar is really a bad idea ... i hope that never happens ...
or at least gets bound to a techbuilding ... else it is a horrible idea

it happened to me 2 times ... since beta2 ...
it was in the same match ... on walls ...
buti always play on the matrix server ... there are usualy no bots ... so i can not say how rare it actually is

sometimes GDI AI still can see you from across the map even if you are stealthed ....
it is not as common as in beta1 but it still happens

I am happy once a stable version with the classic maps is done on pc ...
i do not need consoles

yes i miss a command for mods or admins to dissarm a certain beacon from console ... like it was in classic renegade

i am pretty sure they test all the maps b4 release ...
and if they are in the internal beta it would not necessary mean they will be in public beta 3

microsoft demands major publishers to be able to release a game on xbox ... and they demand money ...
since the team does pay all expenses out of their pocket, and a port to xbox would be additional work, the chance is around 0%

but i believe that the low playercount does mean that those who tried already are not following the project ...
the most are turned down by the crashes ...
it is not so much the contend ...
everybody knows that they are working on making the game stable ...
releasing a lot of content pictures or notes could make people think they have the wrong prioritities
and after all ... it is just a name ... as long as there is a mountain it does fit ...

I haven't seen the vague images you're alluding to either, but then again I don't get the secrecy behind making free games. You might as well just show us what you're working on instead of alluding to it lol
It's not like there's some trade secret behind map design, no competitors are going to steal your ideas.

Select Server & Directly Connect ---> highlight a server with a single click on it ---> single click the "Join" button --->Done!
that works for me just fine ...
If that not works for you, maybe try uninstall the game and reinstall it
or try to launch the UDK.exe ...
([your Renegade X folder]\Binaries\Win32\UDK.exe)

well i do more kills and win more 1vs1 sub-battles in renegade than with any other FPS ...
i love that arcade style ...
i say people should get used to it or just not play it ...
you not need thousands of players to have a working community

I think that could have been considered a bug that became used regularly ...
like enter a PT through a wall ... thats fixed now
and it got stuck a lot of times on the post with no way to push it back ...
that even causes you to have people constantly tryn to unstuck it ... an other downside on that "tactic"
having the harvester can help you to break through the sige aswell ...
the tanks will shoot the harvester, at least some ... with the right timing you can use that for you advantage!
I hope they build in a routine that checks if the harvester has moved over 3 or 4 grid squares (or coordinates) in the last 60 or 90 seconds, and if not it just gets blown to respawn a fresh one ...

yes, i do not think they are meant to be "tiers" at all

sounds like full server or beta 1 ...
go to www.renegade-x.com and download the new beta 2 ...
uninstall the current installation of renegade x and then install the fresh downloaded

and you need to uninstall beta 1 b4 you install beta 2 ...
(still people who have problems with this ... hope the autoupdater will work with the next patch)

If I remember right, in the old renegade you were able to see the location of nuke/ion in your minimap which not the case in renx. Maybe they should correct that to balance the sbh_nuke (make you buy it 1000 isn't the way to do...). Also like in the first post, most of the time you lost your building not because of the ennemy skill but only because it's hard to find where it is... It's break the gameplay, that is all.
was never visible on the map, and thats good!
and what letty says is just not right ... i think all those spots will be fixed by the devs ...
that means they are bugs ... or at least unbalanced spots ...

I repeat: I hope that never happens because it would be a desaster for the gameplay ...

sorry but this statement is absolutely rediculus!
Like pointed out B4, the bugged locations must be fixed ... that is the real problem here ...
everything else is just fine ... no need to add a new mechanic that messes with the gameplay in such a heavy way!
