  4. The bugs you mentioned could not even be there in the Mod. Its simply no more Renegade its a totally new game (and engine). For sure we will try to keep the origenal style, but not the bugs!
  5. We REMAKING a game, not making a new one out of scratch. For sure we improve some parts of Renegade, e.g. with the StealthTank we got a nice targeting-system there like you maybe now it from the rockets in UT3. We should keep Renegade-balace!

I think UT3 and the U3 engine got a very nice workaround for lag-issues its a very nice system, I never had lag like I had once in Renegade, if you have more then a 1000kb/s connection it shouldn't be a problem. (I got atm. 6000kb/s down and 768kb/s up and never had any trouble with lag in UT3). For sure we try to optimize bandwidth-use for our mod, it's not at the top of our must-done-list, but we will for sure even after a first release work on that.

CSS is very easy to learn, you can use Dreamweaver or any other IDE for Web, they nearly all have css support, by using an Web-IDE you don't even need to look inside any css-code.     you need to put it in: C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps\ (on Vista) not sure what it is on win xp maybe the same, its just your profile folder, remeber there has to be "Published" (if not create one) enjoy

You dont need a mod just add -nomovieintro to your Ink. would be something like: C:\\Binaries\UT3.exe -nomovieintro (or make a .bat file and put this content in) FAQ: Q: How to make a .bat file? A: Just make a new textfile (.txt) and then rename it to .bat (btw. show known endings or whatever it's called under windows must be activated!)
  20. Hello Renegade-X team! Maybe some of you already know me (as Mike on MSN) I've been playing Renegade a loooong time (about 6 years now but with some pausing time in between). And i love this game! So, i thought to help a team that is trying to bring that game into a comlete new enigne (like UT3 ). What I can do: - coding (nearly in every common language e.g. C/C++, C#, Java, PHP and for a short time now in UScript) something I've done in UScript (for UT3): - Thats a Stats-View like its used in Renegade for displaying Player-Stats - This is only an example and I think some details will be changed! - I've also added a new view (that one where you see only your own stats but more detailed, seen this version in Ressurection Mod for Renegade) War-Lord told me, that i can code this Stats-View as i asked him what I could do (and he has coded the credits-system that is shown there!) Thx War-Lord!
