  1. if you are using win7 or under you need to get a windows hot fix for the 8150 (any of the "FX" bulldozer / piledriver cpu's) i have a FX8350 (overcloced to 1.4 but still runs 60 when now) with 16 gb of ram and a gtx 760 and i play all day @ 60 FPS 1080p (ultra 2x AA) on most maps .. i get some frame drops now and then but nothing to complain about whats your res as that has a massive impact on the game this hot fix just fixes some threading things in the windows manager stuff hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2645594
  2. some good sugestions there but im going to have to pass on alot of them if i remeber APB had a lot of BIG maps and the duel defence maps are just mahhh its hard enough to take out one AGT / ob but 2 well it will make long stale mates even longer and more boring i like the idea or an open map with some nice high inf paths and this sort of map will handle air units very well imo i must have air units i may just make this map on the fly with no planning ... dont know what sot of theme to go with tho that i will have to plan in advance (im not going to be making a butt tone of assets tho like i have with other maps)

  9. naa you ok dont think it will take as long as volcano or canyon (vid wize)... but there is a lot of custom meshes that need to be made for city and im not the guy for the job

  13. well you can get to the silo from the tunnels but this map is meant to be tight and unforgiving

  19. tunnels attract snipers and if i were to put a silo in the tunnels some were the team that captured it could defend it to easily having the silo out in the open and accessible from the tunnels was the best choice easily accessible wile being a challenge to capture due to the fighting going on around it (a bit like field but a bit closer to the tunnels)
  20. well im trying to stay away from decals right now as they have a massive performance hit wait for the episode after next
