isupreme Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Will Firestorm have a tutorial or other help for new players? Quote
Totem Arts Staff NodSaibot Posted February 13, 2021 Totem Arts Staff Posted February 13, 2021 We will strive to make the game intuitive, and have an intro video at least, building a tutorial into the launcher is an idea we've had. When we get closer to release we can work on polish and finishing touches as this. 1 Quote
DenWellingston Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 I also want to supplement with a proposal to add a polygon where it will be possible to try out almost all weapons, classes and techniques in order to understand how and what works. She's missing in Renegade X. 1 Quote
isupreme Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 DenWellingston, why do you call it a polygon? What you describe is something I have often wished for Renegade X. These types of help for new players should be considered an Essential part of the plan, not a finishing touch. 1 Quote

Bad translation probably, but it's something we can add. A training range or something of sorts. 1 Quote

Cpt.Doge Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Depending on capacity, and availability of time and resources- perhaps a mini video-series on youtube could be done leading up to the release of firestorm- where a unit is introduced, explained, and shown. This would have a two-fold impact of 1) hyping up the game 2) introducing players to different game units or mechanics in bite size chunks. 1 Quote
