unreal tournament 4 is coming to renegade x

hi everyone i just wanted to say thank you to the developers for making this amazing game, it is a truly remarkable experience for me to enjoy. i also wanted to say thank you to this friendly community for answering my previous forums. so now i have proudly decided to announce that unreal tournament 4 is coming to renegade x and the reason for that is i wanted to show my apperecation to the community and it is my way of saying thank you. another reason why i wanted to present this is because this can help new players practise their infantry skills so that they are able to improve their aim and get used to the mechanics of the game and also to get used to different environments and lastly, i am showing this because of the fact that unreal tournament 4 deserves some love especially after what happened to the whole pre-alpha disater and i wanted so share the love to this friendly community since the community has helped me out in the past.

well i hope you guys take the time and appericate the hard work that i have put in. all of this is my way of saying thank you to the developers for remaking the original c&c renegade, you guys made a beautiful dream come true and now its time to show the apperication. thanks to the community for answering my questions and helping me overall. dont worry there is more to come, this is not the end. the maps should be releasing from mid to end of august but until then keep calm and support the developers and be renegades

Wow dude, you gonna remake all of those maps? at the same time?!!?
That's really ambitious of you, and awesome.

We used to have a DeathMatch server some months ago with Deck 16 as one of the maps in rotation (the others were original stuff), hinting that the UT3 maps are compatible because it looked the same far as i could tell (with some pickup changes and lacking that bottom teleporter to the redeemer spawn). We didn't have as many players back then but i think it was perfect as a warmup mode for gathering players before changing to the regular Ren X mode.
Can certainly imagine it being a suitable mode for new players that just want to get a feel for the guns.

Underland is one of my favorites, all pros seem to shun it because its in the quick play rotation but the design and flow is stellar i think.

Well I just wanted to show my apperication to the developers for making this amazing game. Now these dewthmatch maps will be useful to help new players get used to the game but there are also infantry only command and conquer maps for example Facing Worlds being one of them. Also since that i was told that map packs were useless i will just release them one by one. The problem that I am having is building the lighting and that is because my laptop doesn't have enough RAM to do so which is very unfortunate. These maps should be releasing soon I'd say mid-august.

Hello everyone.I hope you all are doing great. I also hope that the RenX community are enjoying Renegade X.

I am here to give updated information such as there is a Brand new map and it's know as Chateau from Uncharted 3. It is a full remake of the map and works perfectly in RenX. Here are the screenshots.

Hiya! 
If you hit Windows key + Alt + PrintScreen on your keyboard, Windows will automatically make a screenshot in a much more accessible .PNG format and at a much lower filesize. The printscreen is saved to your \Videos\Captures folder. Windows Game Bar is pretty weird about saving a picture in a videos folder, but that's just how it is

This is assuming you're on Windows 10. If you're not, a tool like Greenshot is free and pretty easy to set up to automatically save screenshots at your own preference. 

It will do your screenshots more justice, as the .BMP's are in a small resolution, with no compression, poor quality and still a high filesize. 

To return on topic: Great work on those maps!

Thanks for the advice I appreciate it and will look into this in case I forget. From what I have seen I am longer going to use BMPs as they seem useless. Thank you for the postivity, I am glad that you enjoyed it. There is more coming and they should be released this week. Underland,Chill and Facing Worlds are examples of what's coming to Renegade X.

It is not a dumb question as this was the same question I asked myself a while before I made these maps. Unfortunately you cannot play these RenX maps on UE4 since RenX uses UDK (Unreal Engine 3) and they are not incompatible with each other.

It wasnt very fun to be honest.

 

I think eliminating vehicles from the renegade X battlefield removed a huge part of the game and a huge part of the excitement and fun

Yep, Inf only Maps exist some .. but they rare got played 

I runned for some Months an Server with Inf only Maps but only an Handfull People looked in it.

Nearly the same with DM-Maps.

Oh damn oh well what a shame as I was trying to add a spy vs merc theme into it as you have to destroy the building stealthy without being caught by GDI. I was even trying to add enemy pawns to male the map more interesting. Looks like I will have to find a way to add vehicles into the map but it will look very awkward but I will do my best.

No unfortunately RenX maps are not meant for UE4. The maps will be improved and updated but they cannot be imported to UE4 due to imcompatability.

My friend, my man, can I remind you of the advice I gave you a while ago? These screenshots are not doing your work any justice, because they are .BMP's. 

Hit Windows + ALT + Print Screen every time you want to take a screenshot. Then go to your .\Users\...\Videos folder and there you will have screenshots with a much better resolution, at a lower filesize that is a lot more pleasant to look at.
