Is it safe to manually delete everything in RenegadeX's \patch\backup folder/directory?

It is hogging over 6 GB of disk space in my old, updated 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 PC. :(

If I recall, it should be fine, if you have any issues afterwards use Reset Game from the launcher.

Thank you for the quick answer! If it is indeed safe, then the launcher/game should auto(purge/delete) them to free up wasted disk spaces.

Delete it and find out. It's almost as if there's some magical place where files you delete go to and you can restore them if necessary
