  1. Not sure if it is a common issue or a regular "feature", but it seems that all interior terminals on Mesa-II are very small, so the walls: Looks confusing, lol.

  3. The Purchase Terminal (PT) showed me to be able to switch to Proximity Mines for the regular Engineer. It directly happened after a map change. I tried it and got the standard Timed C4. A G/UI (?) icon issue. There is also a different issue, don't have a screenshot about it... I wanted to switch to grenades for the Hotty on Fields, but I always got the Timed C4 instead.

  6. We are on Beta 2.0a, and it still happens. I was "again" accused to be a cheater. I cannot be sure if this SBH has just fired so he was de-cloaked or if I am abusing an exploit/bug without my knowledge. Excuse me. It happened when I exit our PP on whiteout and I immediately saw an uncloaked SBH, shot him of course. What should I had done? Our PP was massed-beaconed by SBHs in that time. I thought I have posted this issue already, but it seems that I had forgot it. Or i simply don't find my post right now, I am too lazy. Hey SOVEREIGN_, we just met each other inside a RenX server. Did you see that GodRider? He recorded me nearly for 30 minutes, at least started many times to reach 30 minutes and accused me to be a cheater. Those kiddies will never know, that such great games as RenX BETA (2.0a) are still under development and such games have still issues within.
  7. Beta 2.0a If I open the PT, random buttons flicker around. It seems the global income of 2 per second causes it. Also I have taken some screenshots via Steamoverlay. Those screenshots doesnt show up the flikering issues. Everything seems alright on these.
  8. Beta 2.0a Whenever I hold down the fire button while in fight and one of our structures get destroyed, I either get a long freeze/lag for about 5 seconds or longer or the game crashes.

  10. Amazing work guys. Some Renegade-X soundtracks sound like they have been made or modified by Frank Klepacki himself. Here I want to mention some Feedback about your Renegade-X OST. For those who wonder about an released Renegade-X OST, check this out: Upcoming game update | Beta 2 (Please notice: This thread is getting modified.) This is the actual tracklist: * Time to Rock 'n Roll * Tension Rising * Command & Conquer * Full Stop * Move It * Industrial * March to Doom * Act on Instinct * On the Prowl * Stomp * No Mercy * Blinded * In the Line of Fire * Valiant * Another Present For Ya * Rampage * Serenity * The Dead Six * Death Awaits "Time to Rock 'n Roll" And there we go... "Tension Rising" Does it already have a cult status?! Yes it does! Let me say, "Renegade-X without this soundtrack wouldn't be Renegade-X anymore!" or "What will be Renegade-X without Tension Rising?!" It totally fits into the Renegade-X athmosphere. I like such sentimantally work. Tension Rising is one of the best Soundtracks I have ever heard for a game. "Command & Conquer" This soundtrack simply honors C&C, Renegade-X and its Developers! "Full Stop" Frank Klepacki could/might be proud of this one. "Move it" Wow, Frank could have been worked on this! Nice work guys! "Industrial" I like the background tones within. The violine is a bit too strong tho. I am not really sure if I could remember the original Industrial sountrack out of this version. It seems to be a different/completely new one. "March to Doom" Ah well, I am not a fan of such a sound but great work tho. I would skip this soundtrack. The "original" sounds better... "Act on Instinct" This here is again a nice work, fits into the Renegade-X athmosphere and the "original" sounds are noticeable. Begin of 01:51 and its continue rocks... Nice mixes guys. "On The Prowl" Nicely done! It could have been made and/or modified by Frank Klepacki. I like it. "Stomp" Sounds like the original, amazing work! From where do you get these sounds? "No Mercy" Hmm, I feel the violine and trompets are a bit too strong. The original one is better, sorry. What do you guys think about to re-create/re-complie this soundtrack. No Mercy deserves something better. After times these sounds here begin to annoy. "Blinded" A cool soundtrack! "In the Line of Fire" The E-Guitar could be done by Frank Klepacki. Nice. Overall, isn't this soundtrack a bit too great for RenX? "Valiant" Nice change of the athmosphere. This is again such a soundtrack which perfectly fits into the Renegade-X Universe, for a cooldown after a fight. "An other present for Ya" It simply rocks! "Rampage" This soundtrack could be the first one who actually fits 100%ly into the C&C Renegeade-X Universe. Made for RenX and made by RenX Devs. A pity, it could be longer. "Serenity" A masterpiece! "The Dead Six" Mystically for Mystics! This changes the in-game athmosphere into the great. Let's imagine, you run around with Sak/Hav or Rave/Pic and you do have an amazing killstrike. One headshot after the next one until you die with a K/D of 40 to 0, lol. "Death Awaits" The bass which begins around 00:40 is really really amazing, but for my sensisible ears the rest is getting annoying after a short time. It is too "shrill". I can imagine what you wanted to cause with this soundtrack, but it could be betetr. This soundtrack deserves a re-do. A few dislikes D: * Industrial * March to Doom * No Mercy * Death Awaits *** More soundtracks are missing My Fazit: You guys did an amazing work, some tracks remembers me about the good ol' times of Frank Klepacki. Other tracks simply fit into the Renegade-X Universe. It is amazing, really amazing. Continue your work. Tho, a few soundtracks are too "shrill" and deserves a re-do. Others are too loud. Some instuments fail, March to Doom for example. Alright, here we go... Let's discuss 'em! Dear Renegade-X Team, you guys should create a Soundcloud.com account for the good, and share your amazing work officially for free!!

  13. GDI rushed our PP with 2 Engineers. One timed C4 seemed glitched and we weren't able to defuse it from the right side, but it was possible from the left!! Their Remotes so one Timed C4 hit our PP hardly to less than <20% HP. We saved our PP and repaired it again to 100%. I was wondering, we had repaired it but the PP had its red alert noise still active. It also looked like being damaged and had its smokey clouds as you can see on this screenshot:
  14. So do you mean, that he needed more than 1 hit to kill you? If yes, then he could handled his marksman rifle like a shotgun. As mentioned, 3 or 4 headshot hits are needed to kill someone. With correct graphics settings and mouse settings, it can be possible. If he needed 2 or less hits to kill you, then I begin to think about hacks. This shouldn't be possible.
  15. Are you sure that it was a marksman rifle and not a $500 sniper? It is possible to headshot with a $500 sniper, but never with a $0 marksman rifle. It doesn't do that enough damage, "3 - 4 headshot hits" are needed to kill an enemy. How can you be sure that it was a marksman rifle, since you all got headshots from across the map?!
  16. Don't use the scope - just as for the original Renegade - learn and train this and profit. I can do the same with my favoured Pic. Doing >90% headshots with it all the time. I want to say: Speedhacks were possible due to wrong server settings, I guess that every server admin has fixed this issue yet. Thanks to the RenX Devs. See: Speedhack FIX!! I haven't seen any aimbots yet. This shouldn't explain that no cheats are existent, since cheats exist in every damned game. For the original Renegade game, as Sak or Hav, I had a KDR of 60 and more. Why shouldn't it be possible for RenX too? A KDR of 120 and more, done by a Sniper, this should be an cheating event. BTW, I am a bad sniper but a better PIC/RAV player...
  17. Had the Noddies maybe deployed their own mines after they defused 2 or 3 of yours? For the side of GDI, the best mining issue is: * If you have got $350, buy a Hotty imemdiately!! You are faster with 2 Hotties. * Deploy 9 mines into tunnels, DONT use the left and right wing but only that one way * Deploy the rest of the mines at the base entrance DONT DEPLOY MINES ON EACH STRUCTURE AS GDI ON WALLS Once your base is mined as I mentioned above, no SBH is able to enter your base. You don't have to take a look on your whole base but only on 2 spots which are next to each other, too!! One or 2 Hotties should insta control these mines, well, that is your job or you lose. One Havok could defend the tunnels, so only 1 Hotty might be enough to control all 30 mines. Nod could mine their structures on Walls since GDI doesn't have SBHs... Now, IMO, the Mines' damage is nicely increased in RenX. They do great damage to vehicles, not like in the original Renegade. An APC was able to clear out all enemy mines and SBHs had a free entry. Here, such an APC will be destroyed, especially if a MED Tank or a cheap MRLS keeps an eye out. About your issue again, a screenshot would be appreciated, so I could tell if they were able to jump around a corner without triggering mines, or if they fooled you with their own mines.
  18. This is a nice idea. Also my suggestion is to move infront of the MCT and hold the USE-key for a certain time until it has been captured. Something around 20 or 25 seconds. Multiple Engineers aint be able to capture it faster, only one unit per capturing process should be able to use this MCT. If a unit dies before the capturing process ends, the next one (allied or foe) will be able to continue the process. Then _ERROR_XD's idea comes infront. If a Tech Building hasnt been captured but aborted, it moves back to neutral status. IMO there shouldnt be 3 parts as it actually is. Nod -> Neutral -> GDI If Nod has captured it and GDI wants it back, simply: Nod (100% to 0%) -> GDI (0% to 100%) If Nod/GDI status is less than 100% -> slowly returns to 0% of a faction, then from 0% to 100% neutral. And later: Neutral (x% to 0%) -> Nod/GDI (0% to 100%)
  19. Oh right, hell, I forgot to mention Islands and Fields. Islands is a very well made copy of the original. The athmosphere is amazing. Unreal Engine within its glamour. Fields is just Fields, hehe, nice copy.
  20. This news by "Westwood" is indeed the best news within the WWW, which I have yet read so far for the many last years and all regards goes to the RenX Modding team. Dear Westwood, if you read this, we are missing you. Please come back.. Come back with the so-long-awaited C&C Movie. Bring Joe Kucan within, nothing without him!! The next StarWars cough cough cough Tiberium Wars episodes 1 - 7... It is a mess what EA has done with the C&C Universe in general, messed up storylines etc.. Kane was never intended to be a crazy guy, but a best friend!! heheheh
  21. There are yet various maps to play on. What is your favourite and/or the most beautiful map? What is the most balanced or unbalanced map? I am going to list all current maps, select some and discuss em: (more maps are coming within next updates of course...) CNC_Field CNC_GoldRush CNC_Islands CNC_LakeSide CNC_Mesa-II CNC_Walls_Flying CNC_Whiteout Personally my favourite map in RenX is Mesa-II. Beautifully made. I like the darker colors and these metallic rocks. My style. A typically Nod map, but this should not mean that Nod is favoured there. But there is something else which annoys me, that bridge inside the cave.. it is not possible to jump over these lower rocks. Whiteout is a nicely made Hourglass clone, i like it too. This snowy ambient inside this cool balanced map rocks. My 2nd-favourite map. Then at 3rd, Walls_Flying - a classic map. Has nice improvements there. LakeSide is cool, but needs some improvements as for covering base. Maybe add some more turrets in there. I don't like GoldRush!! The only map yet I don't like. It is way too easy to kill GDI's AGT but it is a mess to destroy Nod's Obelisk. Planting Nuke beacons is also easy for Nod, not for GDI. Especially not with the bugged Obelisk. This is a map which favours Nod. Also to run as a trooper, this map is too huge. Too tight ways for vehicles. The ambient is nicely done, but gameplay is a mess in GoldRush.

  25. Launcher starts up multiple game instances!! Yesterday I had mistakenly launched 2 instances and my PC resources were gone. There should be an hidden option to avoid to launch multiple instances. I was inside 2 differnt servers. Change and edit a bug into a feature. The launcher should tell the game client to join a new server instead to run a multiple instance.
