  1. IMO the weapons in RenX are far more powerful than in Ren. Also we can buy sidearms which are powerful too. You pay for sidearms, at least within a next update. Actually the sidearms are being held after your death except for the primary rifle trooper. I want to say, you have to be careful when purchasing stuff (sidearms/equipment) for a paid character as for the Pic/Hav/Sak/Rav or below, always. As of now, if I want to hunt for crates then only with FREE characters and when I don't have any money and/or vehicle. There are many money crates around there as well. I got a STANK as GDI yesterday too. Why should I check a crate with a Tier3-Character? You have everything already. But, it will go "boom"!! Why should I check a crate with a vehicle? I go out of this vehicle, explode and an enemy can steal my Mammy/Med/APC? But you are right, Valor. The AOE (Area of Effect) range of such a death crate is a bit too high. Yet, whenever I walked through tunnels (C&C_Field) with an allied player and a crate is infront of us, I have to look to Fall Back lol. My allied player will collect it and BOOM. Everything else is gone, so my favvy Pic. And because we are all running, the AOE range is ... too high. We could see/use those crates as a last chance too. You are alone inside tunnels and being overrun by the enemy troopers... Hide yourself around a corner and when they are there, collect "THAT" crate and everyone explodes hehe. "Point has been saved!" IMO and at least, reduce the AOE range of those special death crates by 10%-15%. The spawning rate of crates in general is too high, too. "CrateRespawnAfterPickup 30" -> 45 or 60. I would like to see this change within a next update. Also IMO the crates are a secondary or more a tertiary objective, if a Tech Structure / Silo is hidden/existent inside a map. Capture the Silo and gain extra money so special sidearm weapons. Hold it of course.
  2. Targeting won't disappear for enemy stealthed units. I was following and shooting an enemy SBH, he went stealthy but the targeting system still had him acquired for the whole time until...; So it was easy to follow and kill him.
  3. Yeah, I think the RenX Devs will add this feature soon. Dropping primary weapons so each class can collect em. Or maybe not? That is why we can buy secondary weapons? Game modifications could do this later, hehe. Personally, I like it as it is atm.
  4. I highly guess, mods will be created. Within todays C&C Renegade (from 2002), there are mods (crates) which rebuild destroyed buildings, if you are collecting them (MPF). Those will be existent on some community servers for Renagde-X too, but later. So, each community can modify their servers as they like and wish. The UDK Software is very strong about it, but the core game should be vanilla, just as like Renegade itself is. I really like RenX as it is within its beta phase, especially the sidearms, capturing buildings and everything else. I don't want to argue with you, I will just mention that your feedback/wishes/possible suggestions are not C&C/Renegade-related.
  5. Hi, I was a Tribes Ascend Closed Alpha/Beta tester and have played a lot of Global Agenda, still doing so. I have played the C&C Universe since it has begun. Excuse me, but your suggestions here has nothing to do with C&C, more like Battlefield. Renegade-X should be like Renegade, a Command & Conquer game. This game is still within Beta, some things are unbalanced, yes, but those will be fixed - differently.

  8. Just on Mesa II, an enemy Med Tank was able to drive below the Harvester. I was able to drive with a STANK below an enemy GDI Harvester. I stopped and the Harvester drove above me and continued.

  11. If you hold down the left mouse button to insta shoot TOW missiles then switching to the right mouse button to continue shooting, you will hear a confusing noise. Also your perspective won't change, your STANK goes stealthy but still shoots. I am not sure if it just just for me or for everyone else too. Don't take a look on that HummVee, the AI is always shooting hidden and/or stealthed units/vehicles. At least I did damage while being stealthed.

  14. Not sure if it is intended, a stealthed STANK is visible by its tracks when moving. Sand, dust, snow "reveal" moving and stealthed STANKS. It is easy to spot and destroy them. Is it intended while driving with boost (Shift-key)?
  15. There happened an other issue, done by the Obelisk yesterday. As Nod on C&C_Fields, we defended our base. We were getting rushed by Mammoth Tanks. The Obelisk Destroyed one of these Mammies and without a second charging it killed an enemy engineer at a different spot/direction directly afterwards. So the Obelisk killed a Mammy on the left and an Engy on the right direction within <1 second, but charged only once. Ah, there wasnt a sound bug or glitch, since the Obelisk destroyed 2 different targets within less than 1 second.
  16. Game crashes happens on me too, always while map changing.. EDIT_001: Doesnt happen while changing to C&C_Islands.
  17. We all do know, the Obelisk needs to acquire and to charge an enemy at first before shooting. And there a bug/glitch will happen. If the Obelisk has acquired an enemy and charges and then this enemy falls back so the Obelisk cannot hit it anymore, within this special same second I came around a corner/tunnels - ALONE - the Obelisk insta killed me. Sure, the Oeblisk was charged up, but it didnt acquire me. I think it could also be a map-related glitch. This happened on C&C_Fields, I was moving alone through the tunnels straightly to the airstrip. In meantime I heard the Obelisk was charging.. was it me maybe? Did the Obelisk acquire me through the hill inside the tunnels and waited so long until I came around the corner? Ah, maybe not.
  18. * Jumping should use some sprinting energy, maybe 1/10th or like 1/20th part per jump. * Refilling on a terminal should refill the sprinting/(jumping?) energy as well * If an enemy planted a timed or a remote C4 on your body, refilling on a terminal should defuse/disable them * Reduce death crate's AOE (Area of Effect) range by 10%-15% * Add new HUD element to show off your current used/unused seats inside your vehicle and/or APC * Change the timer of EVA's messages. To listen to "..under attack!", "..has been repaired!" every second is argh * Globally increase "CrateRespawnAfterPickup 30" -> 45 or 60 * Change the Vehicle Limit to 20 * Be able to collect crates with vehicles. Death crate? Only vehicle explodes. New Char crate? Char will be changed * If the Obelisk charges and acquires an enemy but this enemy falls back, the Obelisk should NOT kill an other random enemy within its sight and by this same charge. It should re-charge and re-acquire an other (random) enemy, or that enemy again if he returns back into the Obby's sight. Also an other logic here is, Obby charges but doesn't shoot cuz the enemy disappeared, enemy returns and get insta killed without a next Obelisk's recharge. Well, for me it is a bug. * Change the price of special weapons. $1000 for Airstrike/AC-130, $1500 or even $2000 for Nuke/Ion Cannon * Change the AI that it doesn't lay any FAILED PROXY MINES on multiplayer games anymore * Add various taunts, built-in commands as !time, !donate, !td, ... * A single $800 FTANK kills a $1500 Mammoth Tank within seconds simply doesn't fit! Change the FTANK's weapon against heavy armor. Slightly buff it against infantry/no armor, higher its AOE. Nerf it against Heavy Armor. Keep it as it is against Structures. BTW, does the Mammy even have a "Heavy Armor" flag yet? * Change the speed and ROT (Rate of Turn) of various vehicles, e.g.: STANK is too slowly, also with boost enabled; HummVee's/Buggy's ROT without boost is incredible high but looks ok while driving with boost. Nod's APC Rate of Turn is too high also while driving with boost. * Change credits income. If the enemy team has no Refinery but we still have it plus the captured Silo, I will usually have average credits of ~$20k while the enemies have like nothing (take a closer look to the screenshot). What to do with all these credits? Team Donation for just-joined players would be nice, as mentioned above:
  19. I was sitting inside a Mammy and everything began to lag.. Mammy shot up to 4x 120mm rounds while these lags happened. I am not sure if it is only an global animation bug, or if that Mammy really shot 4 rounds without reloading. When I shot 2 rounds and the Mammy began to reload, while the realosinf process I got lags and so the Mammy did shoot up to 4 rounds in a row without reloading.
  20. As a GDI engineer I entered a friendly APC. This player got it through a crate. We were planning an APC rush but none entered except me and the driver. Well, firstly I wasnt able to see any names when I entered this vehicle. I exit the APC later and all the Engineer's weapon icons on the HUD were messed up. The HUD showed me 3 silenced Pistols until I swithched some weapons. Not sure if this is a vehicle related bug, or a general HUD bug. Could be both. The weapon icons on the HUD messes up.
  21. I can aknowledge this! My Tiberium Auto-Rifle's icon within the HUD always gets replaced by the Airstrike icon, just until I switch to the TibRifle.

  23. I have only tried the GDI PIC yet... As the PIC it is possible to avoid the longer reloading process by simply switching between weapons. So you can shoot with the PIC like 2 times faster, since switching weapons takes some time in RenX too. I think it is also possible with different infantry units. Excuse me, I amnot sure if this is yet only a character issue (PIC) or "weapons related" issues. EDIT_001: I tried it with other characters, not all tho, and it seems it is the PIC only.
  24. As a regular GDI Rifle Infantry, when I bought a weapon as the Heavy Pistol, TibFlechette or the Carbine etc so this weapon disappears when I died and respawned. The silenced pistol so appears back. All other free characters as the Shotty, Engineer etc and bought characters as the PIC etc, these bought weapons are still there after respawning. I havent tested this as Nod, yet. EDIT_001: It seems, that the primary rifle unit never repsawns with a bought weapon back. Nod and GDI. Shotty and others respawn with a bought one tho. EDIT_002: Yesterday whenever I bought the Carbine Rifle as usually, after my next respawn the Tiberium Auto-Rifle replaced the Carbine Rifle. Is this a naturally happening? It happened on all maps. I played on Jelly's.
  25. Yes it sometimes happens on me too. A refill doesn't fix it or by switching weapons, but if I respawn/die so the 1st-person arms disappear. While this bug or glitch happens and if I switch to 1st-person, the weapon goes black.
