So i have played a lot of long games before but this one was by far the longest one i ever been on which was earlier on tonight in our marathon server. 314mins ... Has anyone got SS of longer? would love to know what a record for renx mara is lol. Sadly in the end, i had to forcechange the map

Not sure if this has been mentioned but on the Map Mesa ii The GDI Vechile spawning pad is in such an annoying position anyway we can do something with this as it's a major disadvantage especially if nod are artying the crap out wf, you got like 5% chance of getting to your tank before it gets blown up

Aloha RenX Community o/ I have recently been working on a webpage about RenegadeX etc. I have added a "live gaming" section into the page and looking to fill it up with anyone who streams there games, regardless of which game. which can be viewed here. [Won't post link as not sure if allowed to advertise or not] The stream page is to further advertise yourself not only on twitch/ustream whatever your stream may be, but on the site as well, I ask for nothing in return, i love designing etc so this is just hobbie of mines, so hopefully they're few guys/girls out there who stream all the time/occasionally who wouldn't mind being added to the page if so only thing i require is - Stream username - Game [Game plan on streaming] - Next Show [ie When you next going on live] - Source [ie twitch, youtube, ustream] Thanks for reading =) Just trying to do my bit within the RenX Community Dave

Aloha o/ Not sure i have seen a link for this, so if i missed it please direct me to right location. However, as with my old rene i kinda lost all my old stuff pics/top kills etc. so tonight pretty much decided to do a renegadeX gallery. View gallery here. Aloha RenX Community, recently i have been working on a "renegadex" website which basically is more of a fanbase/information site than anything else, as the site is almost complete, I am adding a new section to the website for streaming/youtube channels. So if anyone out there on RenX would like to have there streaming stuff (ie twitch) or there youtube channel on the site. please feel free to reply with your info and ill add it on everything on the site i am sure use will be able to find within the renx forums. thanks

Mesa is far to dark imo. Volcano would be a good shout as that's went under a real transformation

Rypel [DEV] released a mutator to disable base defences after X amount of time, We ran this on EKT server, however people started bitching about it so we removed it. People will happily whore and whore and whore, but soon as they lose a building they all leave, so go figure, Rypel was kind enough to make this mutator, the people in server at the time bitched about it, so pretty much made there bed, they can lie it in.

I'am also thinking that emp-Grenade is a little to expensiv. 250 credits would be fine. Disable a building is in my opinion to powerfull. We can easily put the EMP's up a little in price that isn't an issue

watching this i just lol'd at the differences between old and new island, also this is beneficial as it gives the new players of renx who may not be aware what the old cnc renegade looked like good job

Strength in numbers is a given. Can just picture it, a bot trying to disable a beacon running around daft trying to locate it lol

The UT bots which tend to leave vehicle 10percent or less is extremely annoying when server has a fair few folk in it, bot's essentially can ruin a good fight/game depending on who's in the at time. Bot's are very strange with what they do, no idea with flame tank driver just burns enemies though lol. Assuming the bots will always be like this.

I think if there was a way we could rcon them in from irc with a set skill level it would be more fun/challenge, but was too lazy to do it in-game lol irc was much quicker. Yeah i have noticed that, i don't get the bot concept, although saying that i have recently noticed the bots do fix certain things from time to time, which is good, i just wish they would stop standing in the same places over and over again

When i added the bot's i did it via rcon in irc, so the bots i believe are default level, so when use added them i would assumed you had them on level 7 that's where the difference lies I dislike 1vs1 2vs2 i would rather just snipe with them until the server builds up where you can have an attacking/defensive game with real players.

I think most people would agree that get's right on our collective tits. It would be good if they can somehow have the names on mines when you point across them, so we know exactly which person laid that mine. That would save a lot of time/effort in chasing down the person responsible

Sometimes when i get bored, as EKT we've 2 marathon servers go in server2 and put 30 or so bots onto another opposing team, and do as you intended to do snipe, but picked walls to start with few of the ekt guys came in was good at the start, then it was as if the bots died down and went dumb mode. One good thing going 1vs30 or whatever is gives you good practice

Because.... why? Because the character is right-handed and thus the gun is in the right portion of the screen? So it looks like it's shooting from the right to the left? This makes you leave? Dafuq? Doesn't a gun from the middle of the screen block your view? Or if it's on the bottom of your screen, it looks like as it is shooting upwards? So you can bitch about that again? Dafuq? And that pretty much settles that. Amen -
Well this is where it get's interesting, With regards for the map not being fair for GDI on field, i tend to agree, Nod has the turrets, plus if an arty get's behind that gdi bunker and has good support around it, then gdi is pretty much locked in there base, unless they can force there way out, although saying that if half the GDI team left because base defense went offline, then how pathetic is that? they stayed there for however long it was continuing on a stale map, but soon as defense go off, boom 1 building goes and then they leave?. That's the problem with majority of RenX players regardless of which map they play, soon as a building is gone they instantly leave and rejoin in attempt to go on other team. This mutator was just released and it's pretty much just been added, so put it down to trial and error? If nobody wanted to play a marathon server why on earth would you join a marathon server kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it? Kinda like ordering loads of greasy food and asking for a diet coca cola, makes no bloody sense.

I think this will come in very handy for the marathon server, especially if the game gets stale especially on field. Thanks for the release, Sure ekt will have it up and running shortly

pretty sure there is one for infinite credits aswell, don't really play the single player mode though, more fun going on multi-player

In the future will there be a command if possible for the following (These are some of the old Brenbot commands which were handy) !bl - Will display the health of the buildings in game (gamelog must be enabled) !gameinfo - Displays gameinfo (ie what map etc) few for future (if the voting system is fixed) !rotation - Displays the maprotation !shownext/map - Displays the next map
