Honestly only having 1 defend is what causes most of GDI loses on the map. One person can usually hold off the solo nukes, but eventually NOD will start sending more when they see the solo fail time and time again. You usually want 2 to 4 base defenders. With all the new players, it's unlikely anyone would be willing to defend for the whole game (or at all really). This is why GDI ends up losing most defense-less maps like Walls and Islands. I've still seen cases where a nuke doesn't get any attention from GDI in a 40 player game. They should add a loud beppepeeeep sound when you deploy the nuke. That should get people going and maybe also increase the volume of it in general.

Marathon is how it should be played Yeah i mostly share his views on games and so its great to see him do videos like this both for valuable feedback and for increase in the population of the community. I almost died on myself when he did that, but i understand him because it do make sense to blow up the console in the sense that's what you do, maybe they should add a console with something that make sense to repair or just change the name in general of it. So many sliders, music and FOV sliders...

Ive healed a few people and yes, it takes a better aim to heal people than killing people, so I'm not sure whats up with that, however if it was to easy to heal nobody would ever die...

Pretty good summary here, there needs to be some tweaking of certain items and i think the reason you see so many engies is because of the bug that makes it so weapons you buy carry over death which makes the other free classes pointless.

Well its sad that you cant play it functionally on your laptop, however if you really want to play this game with its stunning graphics and quality you need to upgrade to a high end laptop or just a medium to high end desktop. But yeah, of course more options is always great but you should at least be able to run it fine on low or i don't think a few options will change anything to be honest.

I remember when you had to sign with your signature to be able to test a game, had to fill out forms with bugs/balance/etc. and possible ways to fix said issue. Now that was fun but as said above, Beta is now used as a marketing scheme and more or less kinda ruins the whole point of a beta these days which people think is more or less a demo. I agree, it should be on the attacker to defend the beacon and not the defenders running around like headless chickens to find it. Usually when i plant a beacon everyone runs in circles and cant find it, some even run past it and other try to blow it up with C4.

Well if you cant run this game on any setting then its time to upgrade. Also this graphics menu is one of the best I've seen in a long time.

Tbh i steal tanks all the time, because i rather take it then the enemy SBH just walking past everyone not noticing him, especially when the tank is parked in the open (middle of base) with almost nobody around it. Feel free to tell me in chat you want it back, and ill give you it, but for the love of god stop feeding SBHs Mammoths

A useful trick that could be hampered if a filecheck system is ever implemented. Why would you even bother to filecheck it? Could just blacklist the whole folder

You can try run it with -nointro Anyway i think going to C:\Renegade X\UDKGame\Movies and rename everything there should do the trick.
