We keep hearing reports of people crashing that run at very high or ultra settings. So it might have something to do with one of the high graphic settings. If you crash a lot you could try to play on lower settings for a while. Maybe that reduces the crashes. If it does pls let us know.

There is an autolock for like 5 seconds. You can press 'L' to extend the locktime to 45 seconds. By pressing 'L' again you can instantly remove the lock.

Did you change anything on your PC components and or Windows version ? Probably not but i need to ask ^^ Also Whiskey did you also not crash in the earlier betas and only in this new version ?

Well we take any suggestions right now aslong as people can name some good reasons for them. Thats alright. The hardest part honestly was to get to this point. Now we have again some room for creativity on new features.

Vehiclelimit can be set with the "?VehicleLimit=0" serveroption. The vehiclelimit setting in the ini does NOT work. But the server commandling option does.

If the launcher isent working you can set your name in the game by typing "setname nick". Press F3, then delete the "say" then type "setname nick". About the launcher error... dunno hard to tell from here. We will note all issues for now.

Pages that start sounds are not allowed. Instead i just put in your startingpage.

You will need to have Steam running to be counted for the Ren X leaderboard aswell as for the clanwwars.cc leaderboard. It would simply be too much work for us to implement our own authentication system and Steam does the Job just fine.

There are still some out of boungs zones. But the issue with them not showing the "Return to battlefield" message for multiplayer has been fixed a while ago. The older the video you find on the web is, the more likely the issues you see in them have already been fixed.

Im sry but only community/gamerelated websites pls. On your community website you could include a link to your server hoster though.

Well it turned out it was more of a problem with serverperformance so it could happen on very good PC´s aswell. But we think we fixed it so this should not happen anymore in the open beta.

This is to try something new and to give serverowners more possibilities to keep people informed. A Banner is very limited in that regards. The site will be displayed below the serverlist and you can make it as visible/invisible as you want by sliding it in or out of view.

Renegade X will come with an (optional) external Serverbrowser tool. The tool has the ability to display a webpage inside of it based on the currently selected server. So this way serverowners can provide up to date info on their communitys and servers directly within the external Serverbrowser. You could do a special page for this or just link to your homepage. In order to qualify for this pls post the URL of the website you want to show and the IP your server will have in this topic. If the URL doesent contain Porn or other shit we will then register it together with the IP on the masterserver so that it will get distributed to the clients. Note: - Javascript will not be supported for the serverpages but it will support HTML 5 features - The Page can contain hyperlinks. When clicked those links will be opened up in the default system browser

You are free to do so. We are happy for everyone that wants to promote the game and have no interest in preventing that.

I removed the point about a basic leaderboard. We have one setup but it would probably slow to a crall with many players in the first days and servercosts could increase significantly ( which we also cant except donations for and have to pay ourselves). So we will integrate the leaderboard later and carefully in order to make sure that the server infrastructure can handle it.

We cant and wont change Black Dawn anymore so there isent much you could translate. But i can send you the bits that can be translated, i dont think its worth it though as it is probably only 5% of the game that can be translated. For the RenX Multiplayer files i´ll get back to you soon.

We choose the current tiberium because it looked better to us. Simple as that. We do not care if it is TD tuberium or not, we are not slaves to TD.

I only know of two people so far. I wouldnt call that a lot. And Wyld1 only has 3GB of ram wich is barely above minimum of UDK specs and our maps use a bit more so you should have atleast 4 GB of ram.

Yes UDK supports spectating. I guess nobody tried it so far including devs but you can open the donsole and type execspectatormode. That normally should switch you to spectatormode. But again im not sure if it works right away in renx or might need some adjustments.

Make sure you have enough HDD space left on your main drive aswell. Also other progs like anti vir could eat up your ram memory.

Because it is fun to build something. And its even more fun if people enjoy it.
