  2. Yup, and they decided that the HUD needed a little upgrade. tbh, i really like the newer hud where all the info you need can be found like status of buildings etc.
  3. lol JUST a replay mode? that's a lot of coding, not to mention this: where would the entire replay be stored (a size of around 30gb for 30 mins of play) sooo, just use fraps! or that other mod thingie which i don't know about :lol:

  5. What's all this with the 'Generals sucks' thingie? I think generals is good because it had a new concept to it. It had nice gameplay, and especially the new concept of it was nice. The fact that generals had factions which could actually excist made it quite appealing to me. Furthermore generals was just like any other C&C only with better 3d graphics than TS and TD (i don't count RA to C&C as i completely hate the series). And AI's on hard were actually DIFFUCULT to beat lol. I know the campaign had no depth to it and basically sucked, but I didn't play generals for the campain. I played generals because the overall gameplay was fast paced and full of action just like any other C&C

  10. the game will be like Renegade but without the bugs of the W3D engine and with WAY better graphics that same engine could ever give you. The team is remaking Renny because they all loved it so much, and let's admit it: it's a pearl which never really got to shine. So basically Renegade-X will differ a lot from normal Renegade. But still it's good old Renegade

  13. in my opinion gunner sucked, but that's just because i never took the time to play with him lol. like i said before, patch can pack a quick and decent punch and i mainly used him as a beacon placer/defender because hs'es worked like hell on all the infantry coming to repair

    erm dude... i don't think that 30 c4's will ever be on the same tank at the same time unless you use flaming vehicles which is prohibited in 90% of the game servers lol :lol:

    u can do that yourself and i always play on arrow keys it beats WASD for me

  19. Tusks aren't meant for tank vs building. Tusks are short ranged anti-infantry and anti-light vehicle missiles which you basically use when an enemy gets to close to you. You know, you can kill infantry with a semi direct hit of a tusk. try that with a shell and you need 3-4 shells where you need 1 or 2 tusks
  20. nothing personal m8, but the mammoths missiles in Renegade also didn't have the range to get to aircraft, only when the aircraft was flying really low you could actually hit it with them. And i don't think this will be changed, as when the missiles would get the same range as the shells the mammoth would be way overpowered compared to the other vehicles
  21. on Nod Artillery and on GDI Mammoth Tank. Imo they've been improved in contrast to normal Ren. Mammy just feels better and is slightly faster than it was in Ren and as we all know arti is just OP lol. as for infantry i mostly use the normal soldier
