lol, that vid is just priceless. I hate those kind of games... I played through the FEAR demo and from that point on I decided that I would NEVER touch a horror game again (and the demo wasn't even that scary if the stories I heard are true lol)

m8, nothing personal... but with my tank firing there's a HUGE explosion on impact. It's not like i need that 'scorched' mark on the ground to see where it hit lol. As for the bullets... well... can't rly say ur wrong there... but changing environment wasn't there in Renegade... so why should it be there in Renegade-x?

Losing a building or 2 never is the end of a game... i've won tons of games where i didn't have a refinery/pp/bar or hand anymore (losing wf or air is a bit problematic ghehe...). It's up to the team to work together to just win it That's the thing i've always LOVED about Renegade; The game was never over till the last building died

lol amen to the above... besides I always HATED the orange (I used to have the Black and Gold GDI units skin cuz it looked 20 times better than the original lol) personally I definately like changes like these... it makes the game more beautiful instead of more arcade like

i think you'll overpower the game with those specs the specs are basically the same as for UT 3 as for buying it on amazon, i'm not sure if the key will still be unique. As far as i know, and that was with UT 2004, peeps can use the same key as long as they don't play online at the same time... dunno for UT 3 though

I agree with the above. Shooters, yes even the gruesome ones, thought me a lot of things. Besides the fact that they enhanced my ability to react and the speed with which I react it also thought me to look ahead. In other words, games thought me that actions have concequenses. Sometimes these can be good and sometimes these actions would basically kill me in the game. Of course I could go on and on, but the principal is this: Gaming can bring you a lot of fun and friends aswell as teach you things as long as you keep the very thin line between reality and fiction intact. Your parents worry about this, which in fact is very natural and understandable, but if you keep it at bay and turn the gore off I'm sure everything will turn out just fine

first of all: dude look around you and look @ the announcements! second of all: welcome to the forums . the game itself is quite stable at the moment, with a few little glitches here and there but these will be handeled by the devs one way or another. right now they're busy porting the game to the UDK basically making a standalone version of the game. This takes a lot of time and that's why there haven't been much progress anouncements (although i must say that Operation Black Dawn looks GREAT). So you'll just have to wait untill new updates are announced. But the devs are definately working on the mod as much as they can As for the community part, there is the MP gaming community and of course all the players in the game itself and on these forums. I dunno about the peak hours with the most players online though. I live in The Netherlands and those hours are when i'm asleep from what i can understand

lol great article from a great man ^^. I'm sooo happy that I decided not to buy C&C 4. i'll wait till it's priced like €5,- (which can't be far away seeing how epic the game fails at being a saga's ending).

lol, reading all those reviews made me think one thing: EA actually succeeded in something when they released C&C 4. They managed to get the meaning of EPIC FAIL to an entire different level :lol:

C&C has somehow played a big part in my childhood. I've spent a lot of time playing and trying to complete the missions. I must say EA didn't even do that bad with Generals (the missions might have sucked, and u needed a little bit of fantasy for it) because of the multiplayer aspect in the game. I still play it at least once a week over LAN with a few friends creating huge rushes or impenetrable base defenses. Then C&C 3 came out (yes i skipped TS) i can't say i loved it, but i also can't say i hated it. Heck, compared to C&C 4 C&C 3 is one of the better C&C games which has been made lol. Unfortuanetely C&C has been dead for quite some while now. We just have to be happy knowing that EA won't fuck up the name of the brand anymore ghehe...
