Performance wise 64 players is actually horrendous no matter on which machine played or which settings are used

I would say lower that one rock so you'll get exposed to the AGT. You can snipe into Nod's base too but it seems nowhere near as broken as on GDI

Version 0.08 release:
- added BH-Tomb
- fixed hovering rocks on Under
- fixed BH building spotting area still shown yellow
- character crates will now give BH units instead of GDI units
- spy crates will now only give SBH spies
- classic vehicle crates will now also give MRLS, Medium Tank and Mammoth Tank
- added a GDI character crate (should be as rare as an epic character crate)

A new update for Nod vs Black Hand has been released including:
- Fixed game and server crashing
- Includes latest HUD changes from Patch 5.43
- removed BH-Prefixes on building names
- spotting anything Black Hand-related is now shown blue instead of yellow
- Black Hand player names are now shown blue instead of yellow if classic colours are activated
- Tech buildings captured by Black Hand now have a blue flag
- fixed yellow infantry blips on minimap
- fixed yellow tech buildings icons on overview map if captured by Black Hand

In orginal Renegade the Obelisk actually does shoot aircraft. SAM Sites and AA Towers are equal on their stats at recruit level (1 clip of SAM or AA Tower does 300 damage which equals the damage of an Obelisk shot)

But this isn't Walls, it's Eyes. Different map, different playstyle. The buildings on Walls are also much closer together and there's only one main enterance where tanks can get in. Losing base defences on Eyes almost always means losing the map if the other team isn't already crippled in some way. Walls also has 2 SAM Sites/AA Towers which cover pretty much every area around the base unlike the single SAM Site/AA Tower on Eyes

A new update has been released inlcluding the following:
- Added BH-Field and BH-Under
- Fixed a CABAL voice line which didn't get imported properly
- BH C130 will also show up on first harvester spawn now
- Prefabs for map development added
There actually is a Renegade X version of Arid already, which was actually the very first Nod vs Black Hand map. It's just not in a state where we consider releasing it yet.

The new update Aplpha v0.06 has been release including:
- Renamed all maps to have their own prefix (BH-)
- changed PT colour to be less overbearing
- fixed minimap and overview map colours
- fixed unit names and count on map overview
- fixed vehicle blocking volumes behind BH Air Strip and added fences (thx to @Luhrian)
- increased size of BH base on Walls (thx to @Luhrian)
- fixed spy crates giving GDI units
- changed spotting areas on all maps to be BH instead of GDI
- fixed sky on Daybreak (thx to @TK0104)
- fixed Nuke Beacons using GDI EVA voicelines on Black Hand team
- replaced GDI decals on Snow with Black Hand decals
Please delete all old maps and their configurations!

I reuploaded the whole package as Version 0.051 because there were some packages included which would overwrite original game packages. These are now combined into one seperate package so it won't interfere with any part of the standard game.

We've also managed to fix the C130 spawning on wrong positions.

64 Player Count Cap
in Renegade X

I've been playing this game since Beta 2 at the beginning of 2014 and been playing on GTX560 Ti (midrange GPU from 2011) + Intel Core i5-3570 everything maxed out and it ran smooth (60+ FPS). Later I upgraded to a 1060 and later also upgraded the CPU to an Ryzen 5 2600x, which has more single and multi core power than the i5. And guess what? Performance has improved 0%. Why? Cause you simply can't improve it at 64 players. Most of the time I'm still at 60-70 FPS but it fluctuates a lot more and often below 60 FPS. 40 players definetely was the smoothest experience.
If you look at other games even with official UE3 licenses which allows modification of the engine's source code you won't find that many games which allows higher playercounts.Not to mention that 64 players servers are also pretty expensive to have powerful enough hardware to run without lags and high pings for everyone, which isn't attractive for potential server hosters either.
