Can you record it the next time it happens maybe? That sounds a little fishy. The only other thing I could imagine is that it was 2 Remotes stacked up from 2 different people

Remote C4 can only be disarmed with a repair gun or repair tool. And as the name implies, it is remotely controlled. So it is very likely someone is standing around the corner and waiting for you to walk next to it.

If you're hosting it on your computer you also need to add port forwarding to port 7777 to your router's settings. Normally the Windows firewall shouldn't be a problem, at least it was never an issue in my case.

Haven't read through all this but you wanna give a class self-healing (which not even the epic units have) which:
- Has infinite ammo
- has a very deadly, pretty long ranged, precise primary weapon
- a silenced and pretty powerful side weapon
- is cloaked
- has a pretty high movement speed
- costs only 400 credits
Are you serious? There has to be downsides with that many advantages that class already have. I have the feeling you just wanna make Nod infantry just even more unbalanced (regarding the other topic from you about LCG being so vulnerable to snipers) than it already is. Imo SBH should either lose infinite ammo or the silenced machine gun should be replaced with the pistol.

Some people may take the restore building vote as a joke first but I think this will go away in a short time after most people realised it's an actual vote. It should be enabled only for the start though when a building dies like 2 minutes into the game, making people leave.

it's not supposed to be a complete true restart cause nobody wants that, otherwise restart map votes would actually pass which they dont like 90% of the time.

Shouldn't be a problem to add, though I could also think of limiting to a one time use, since it's originally just intended for the early game anyway.

Small update on server: Recon Bikes added to LakeSideBH and some minor fixes has been made to LakeSideBH.

Been in this game since Beta 2 launch in 2014 and I'm happy that I'm still part of it and even started doing some stuff in SDK

The only reason why it's called Nod vs Black Hand is to not have two identical named teams which could cause confusion during gameplay

I actually had a similar idea, though I wouldn't give one team both classic units as I consider them as straight upgrades to their counterparts you named. I also thought of little changes to infantry like maybe
giving BH Mendoza the volt riffle instead of Blue Tib Auto Riflebad idea but I that probably needs some testing before final decision.- 1

If not, I think it could be really nifty if at least the vehicle selections could be differentiated a bit between the two factions. Perhaps something like Stanks being replaced by Tick Tanks for BH? Infantry differentiation would be awesome, but that would obviously take a lot of work.
Either way, really cool concept! Looking forward to playing it!
It is intended to have two identical factions which should lead to some interesting gameplay.

Hi,
Sarah and me have been working on a new mode called Nod vs Black Hand (mostly refered as Nod vs Nod). Right now there is an Alpha test server running the mode. Currently there are only two maps available: CNC-WallsX and CNC-DaybreakX. The Recon Bike (not TS Attack Cycle) will also be added to both teams as a purchaseable unit in the future.
There are some more maps planned though:
- CNC-Arid
- CNC-LakeSideBH
- CNC-UnderBH
- CNC-FieldBH
- CNC-OutpostBH (maybe)
- and some more
Since I'm not good at writing exciting topics, I'll just drop some screenshots in:
Known issues:
- Some HUD elements are not changed yet
- EVA voiceclips
- Some weapons need some work
- Commander powers
- C130 spawning
- random crashes
- Bots spawning with GDI soldiers

Stacking is not an issue, people are just not trying hard enough or give up before they even try just because person x and Y are on the same team.

Personally I would remove the silo since you have almost instant harvy dumps similar to islands, making the silo pretty much pointless imo.

Making a 450 credits class, which:
- has the highest amount of armour (besides the epic characters)
- has unlimited ammo
- deals decent to good damage to infantry and tanks (esp. with higher veterancy)
- takes loads of tankshells until he dies
- can actually survive a deadeye headshot depending on veterancy
even stronger? Seems legit.
