Snow.
hello guys, today I had again a lag problem during playing on FPI after ~1hrs desolation. the lag was hardly during driving and shooting with ANY TANK, for me it was nearly not possible to play, with inf it was imperceptible. I heard several theories why there is the issue: - it is the server (FPI) - it is the engine UE3 - it is the map (I dont think so) - it is a problem from my hardware/software Is it a issue from my site and what can I do to fix it? rocky44r
we all had lags, so it definitely wasn't a issue on your side... seems more like a memory leak since it just started after 1h and only in tanks... could also be a serverside issue... also snow, you don't need good ping to AFK shoot the inf path all game

Mystic~
I had this issue yesterday, we all did, playing the map Desolation also. Infantry were not affected, just shaking/vibrating tanks. I'm guessing it could be a map problem as I've not had it on any other large maps.
Totem Arts Staff NodSaibot Posted March 9, 2020 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted March 9, 2020 The most probable cause is some sort of optimization failure or memory leak. If vehicles become quite laggy and lots of events are clipped out, it is highly likely that the cause is UDK hitting the replication limit. It most often affects vehicles and causes extreme rubber banding, as their physics are the most intense.
