New member.. playerbase?

So I haven't played Renegade in YEARS and was happy to see this.

I logged in and played for about an hour after I downloaded, then got home tonight from running around and found the servers were all empty.

Is this a common sight? When do people typically play?

Not sure what part of the world you're from, but the time usually revolves around the general European time zones. Most players are European.

Yeah if you're in the US (like me), servers are usually dead by nighttime. Matches are full enough during mid day/ evening though. Moreso on the weekends too.

Well shucks. I work over night, so that actually benefits me.

I mean of course, if we had more coordination from the US playerbase, we could actually make sure to populate the servers at other times. sometimes I join and leave right away because there is only 1 other person on D=

We used to have a much bigger US player base at a point in the past, but they died down quite a bit recently.

I think RenX is at the point where people are likely just waiting for a "full release", a "1.0.0" of Renegade-X? But that's to come when stuff happens.

On a brighter note... I'm US and just decided to check out RenX since i used to play the original back in the early-mid 2000's! Hopefully, it'll still grow because so far, I'm loving it!....when there's enough people on....
