Built with UDK error

Hi I just installed this game today after hearing about it. I loved playing C&C:Renegade when it first came out and thought it would be great to play this version.

When I first launched the game it worked perfect except the problem started after i accepted an update when starting the launcher. After that I keep getting a "built with udk error" when launching the game I searched around the internet and did the various changes such as changing binitializedshaderondemand to true and doing the fix with the smart screen(which is already disabled) and other fixes with no avail. I also reinstalled the program and the problem starts again once I do the update.

Maybe it's a problem with my specs since I'm running an older laptop?

I'm running:

  • Windows 10 Pro
    Intel Core i7 2670QM @ 2.20 GHz
    8gb Ram DDR3
    Intel HD 3000 graphics
    1tb sshd

Here are the logs which I've also attached:

I have the same error but I can't seem to find this bAllowD3D9MSAA anywhere in the .ini file you stated thought I managed to find it in base systemsettings.ini, tried that and the game still crashes

What is the folder path you're finding this base 'systemsettings.ini', as that shouldn't even be a thing.

Both files are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Renegade X\UDKGame\Config which could be the same for you if you installed it in the same directory as me. You can also use the search function to find the files if you still cant locate them.

Yes I know, I'was referring to that having the code where the UDKgame one didn't, ah the game seems to be working now, I guess after it downloaded something it needed, still was worried why it didn't ran before but meh now it works for a strange reason
