dAEc
Hello I've recently started playing around in UDK a bit, but i've encountered a problem with landscapes disappearing when moving at certain locations and when moving around with camera, i have googled for answers but so far nothing see pictures http://imgur.com/a/QwWZZ I have updated my graphics cards driver, tried build lights, restarted the program/comp several times yet the problems persists, anyone know what could be causing this? its making mapping impossible thanks
Totem Arts Staff TK0104 Posted August 21, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted August 21, 2015 I had the same problem. If you set locatation XYZ of the lanscape to 0, it Will be fixed (I thought)
Totem Arts Staff kenz3001 Posted August 21, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted August 21, 2015 there is 2 things that could cause this 1. you made the landscape invisible in the landscape settings ... you can check this by going to the search icon (binoculars) and either look for landscape or search "landscape" and go to its properties under display make sure the "Hidden" box is not ticked 2. you have hidden terrain in the show options or by pressing "T" (pressing "T" again will enable terrain) other then these there isnt much else that will make a landscape disappear #2. is probably what you did

Totem Arts Staff Handepsilon Posted September 13, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted September 13, 2015 That happened to me once after I copied the landscape for tunneling. Because it kept doing that I scrapped the idea. Memory problem?
