Game Crashing on Map Change (64 bit)

Hey guys I've recently started playing Renegade X and I've been following the mod since they announced they were going to make it, and It's come along way!

Anyways I'm having a problem which seems quite common after some forum digging, my game client is crashing after map changes on 64 bit windows 8. Does anybody have a workaround or a fix for this?

Just to keep you guys informed, the devs don't know what is causing the crashes ATM, but they are aware of them. A new internal beta is being built. This build will have extra log information so hopefully we can find the cause of the crashes. Have patients the game used to be very stable, Im sure the devs can get the game stable once again.

Are the devs using the latest UDK version now too - i hope so!

I've noticed it does crash mostly with high player count, like 30-40 people.

I say we limit the player count to 32 to prevent this!

Oh gosh! I hope you say this for the temporary fix ONLY! as there are more followers for the 64+ player caps!

I've found that not using your mouse/keyboard when the map is about to end - fixes this. I haven't crashed so far today (3 maps).

I've also seemed to notice it (seems at least) to help a bit, wierd
