Here is also a concept art of one being built at the Weapons Factory during multiplayer mode. It might be imbalanced, just an idea though. Quote

krayons Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 MANTA RAY RUSH INCOMING!!!! (Nod's answer to the GDI dolphin!) The Manta Ray would be a flying type 'vehicle' built at the Airstrip that costs 1500 credits. Once built you and your teammates have a short moment to board the manta ray which holds about 4-5 infantry units. Shortly after, it slowly begins a randomly designated course to the GDI base which you have no control of. It is basically a giant flying floating platform that is as strong as a tank. Once, and if it makes it to their base, it will try to land on a Weapons Factory or Barracks and just float like a blob, from which you can finally jump off it safely. Quote
