Yep , ive been hanging around the forums since 2008. when i got the first renegade-x beta, lol, i remmber it took me a full day to get it working , partly my fault , and when i tried to give it to my friends, they had trouble getting it to work on theirs , but in the end we all gave up, and decided to wait for another beta . but since we all have steam, it would have been much easier back then. i say it'd be a great idea, as it makes giving others the game much easier.

  12. i atually tried to not compare too much to COD, but oh well. as for the abh spending the whole game collecting weapons.. that would happen one way or another how do you collect weapons? you kill people to collect their weapons, so what does the sbh do the entire game IF weapon limit exists? well thats obvious, sbh would no longer be widley used anyways, instead you'd get sbh campers out in field "too scraed to pull the trigger and get unstealthed" how an sbh would be spending the whole game collecting weapons? well, if you think about it, he'd still be spending the whole game, but he'd just be spending the whole game trading weapons on the floor. on top of that weapon limits reduces the amount of "achievement", "you worked for thoes guns and you deserve it, you killed thoes soldiers with what you have and so you get what you can pickup", honestly, think of weapon limits as a factor that can reduce gameplay. i always liked going in to enemy base with a full armory, partialy because i need it to actually infiltrate sucssesfully... i risked my lifegoing into firfights just so that i could get myself a new gun. call it a temporary prize for killing the person... besides having it as an option for servers isnt so bad, if you can let weapon limit, and weapon drop become a tick box on the settings for a server, what harm could that do... and in addition to that, why remove what you already have?
  13. if you think about it, theres eventually going to be trolls on ren-x that would ruin the game for every one.. if dual wield happens in ren-x, my god... =P it would end up like COD, the actuall players which "play for fun" dont play anymore, and what you've got left is trolls that go round killing everyone, and stop the game from BEING played, (in ren-x case, sbh ramjetters, which can STILL happen with the 2 primary only weapon system) =P back on topic: the old carry everything wasnt so bad, so why does it have to go ?
  14. have you ever went up against thoes dual g18's or thoes dual rangers??? i mean going up against that is just.. cruel.... but its my opinion any way...
  15. animation is very rough, it needs smoothening, by which means the actions inwhich the footballer was mooving seems... unatural? you could probably improve it by, well... recording yourself to see how your body reacts in real life, and from the footage, transfer over to your animation software, we could use thoes high techy gadjets, with like a green suit with white electronic dots on you that transer movement, but that like the "IF you have it, why not"... =P its overall very good, but what can i say, i'm no animator X)
  16. =( why does nobody like the all weapon pickup?? everyone keeps syaing it makes you Over Powered... thats not ture, if you have 10 weapons, that dosent mean you ARE 10 Different infantry... that just means you have the ability to change weapons when we want to, to best fit the situation at hand.. you are after all ONLY firing ONE gun, and switching takes time btw.. (i dont know how to quote so..) some one said: a small change like the weapon limit isnt a game breaker.. so?, if its not so bad one way why is it so bad the other way, i'm not comparing to cod.. but cod only lets you have 1 primary because of ammo issues and balance, in renegade, ammo aint no biggie, you after all just take a small walk back to your base... -ammo isnt a problem -weapon usage shouldent be a problem (like i said , you only ever use one gun, its not like you dual wield, Imo worst ever implication to COD, Horrible decision, Ruined and unbalanced the WHOLE game, hate it...) =( why not just give server owners the choice of choseing whether or not to implicate all weap. pickup... oh yeah, today is renx birthday, Happy birthaday. =D
  17. you know, there is a way to get rid of Prolonged camping.... you could... add a second health bar? basically, you've got your standard health bar, which is pretty much the same, then you have another bar, this one is much bigger, takes the same damage, but can't be repaired. the only way to repair the bar if to return to base. e.g. get on to the concrete of your base on walls, go past the obi/agt on under... when you get there the bar can automatically or instantly repair?? think about it. this can work, it stops campers from point whoring, as they're going to have to eventually return to base, and it doesn't interfere with other tactics such as rushes. this second health bar is going to be something like 10x the standard health bar, so it won't stop you from doing rushes, but since its un-repairable, it will force you to return to base to be repaired if you stay out in field and take too much damage(i.e camping:mad , giving the defenders a chance of fighting back!!! not only that, if you are camping, the defenders 2nd health bar is always full, while yours is continuously being damaged ( if you're getting hit that is). so if your whole team camps, then they're all going to have to fall back at the same time, and the whole tide of the game changes. with this, it encourages people to STAY BACK, and organize rushes. p.s. could have a some malfunctions when the vehicles 2nd health is under 25%, maybe turret skips a round now and then, engine suddenly stops for a split second, your veh starts turning slightly to one side??
  18. i saw the video of capturing the tiberium spike, and i seems that if you walk under the spike you instantly capture it, but what if the opponent and you are inside the tibspike? btw mammoth was marked as a nod vehicle in the green box thing Great job though, looking forward to see the final release
