  1. Cheers. Was thinking an invisible blocking volume along the tree-line/cliff-edges would do the trick for keeping them out. It should also save you rebuilding the lights.
  2. I get this error when trying to upload screenshots: "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." Was hoping the description was enough. External URL: Left Route - http://tinypic.com/r/2w7oewp/9 Right Route - http://tinypic.com/r/2vjpkbn/9 Fly straight forwards for easy access...
  3. I'm getting this to...

  5. Why does that get priority over the Orca route on Lakeside? On field it's an annoyance but can be countered. On Lakeside it's a game-breaker that pretty much hands GDI the destruction of the HON and Ref; and subsequently the whole round.
  6. With the extras menu now empty a new opportunity presents itself for purchase: Team powerups! Team powerups are available to purchase for the low low price of 100 Credits. For every 'purchase' 100 is added to the global tally and when the required amount is reached the power-up is activated. Every powerup has a 30 second delay before activation and a 60 second cooldown before it can be purchased again after activation. Sabotage Barracks/HON - 5000 credits The enemy team are unable to purchase advanced infantry units for 30 seconds. Sabotage Weapons Factory/Airstrip - 5000 credits The enemy are unable to purchase vehicles for 30 seconds. Sabotage Powerplant - 7500 credits The enemy base is powered down for 30 seconds (increased unit cost and no base defense). Iron Curtain (Nod ONLY) - 10000 credits All Nod units and structures have their maximum armour doubled for 60 seconds. Chronowarp (GDI ONLY) - 10000 credits Any GDI infantry killed while the Chronowarp is activate respawn at base for free as their current class and buildings recover 50% of their current health (not armour (does not affect destroyed buildings)) last 60 seconds. HUD Elements! Four new elements now appear on the HUD (GDI Example): Sabotage HON - 0/5000 Sabotage Airstrip -24s Sabotage Power Plant - 6100/7500 Chronowarp - 7200/10000 The first number indicates the current team funding, the second the total required. Times indicate the powerups status: Yellow=Countdown to activation Green=The powerup is active and how long it has remaining Red = How long before the team can start funding it again
  7. If we're going to tweak engineers then lets do it right, leave them as they are and add an extra feature: Hold right-click and left click to attach C4 to yourself! [short attachment animation] If it's remote C4 you can Right-click to instantly detonate (killing yourself in the process). If it's timed C4 it goes boom after 30 seconds killing you or detonating where you dropped it. Engineers can now go back to rushing tanks and blowing up troops at will and Nod gets their suicide bomber (and get to share the fun with the GDI).
  8. Those same changes now allow Nod to get vehicles on the (previously) infantry only path towards the GDI barracks. I wonder how that's going to go down with the same crowd?
  9. Not sure if it's been taken note of yet but there's now five entrances to the Nod base. Get in an Orca/Chinook, turn straight towards the Nod base after exiting yours, fly through the woods, congratulations you are now hovering by the refinery/HON. No infantry, no tanks and no SAM sites to hinder your progress. Did I also mention the trees make pretty good cover and obscure you till the last moment? Go on, try it, drop of a Chin full of hotties and pretend it took skill to get 'em there.
  10. Nothing wrong with parking Stanks up there, how else are you meant to deter the Humvees circling round your defences? The problem lies with the Artys/MRLS shelling the HON/WF.
  11. There's also not a way to defend this "entrance." You can't place mines there. You can only hope to catch someone in the act. Actually, you can defend it on walls, it's possible to drive up on to the overhanging rocks and lay in ambush for when someone attempts it. You also get a pretty good vantage point for defending your main entrance. Unfortunately the CT servers (being the main servers these days) have a bad sense of fair play, you can use the glitch to attack a base but defending from there gets you kicked...
