  2. You didnt get my point. I just disagree about with your theory that a ramjet rifle (imo it is obviously designed as an anti-material rifle and this wiki supports that http://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Hawkeye_ramjet_rifle) that is designed to penetrate armor is not intended to destroy light vehicles. Its about logic.
  3. So why 20mm+ Anti-Material Sniper Rifles do exist? And even be called Anti-MATERIAL? Because your sentence is just wrong, I'm sorry. (Yeah, they usually don't attack flying helicopters, thats right. Used against light vehicles or stationary targets like radar stations)
  4. ah okay, havent played the original renegade for more than 5 years ^^ but the chinook already existed yes? if you would make orcas 1p only and install blockers to prevent jumping on them, you could still jump out of the chinook and parachute on buildings, which still would be the same just with a vehicle that can carry persons by its design
  5. and what do you want to do about ion cannon/railgun then? they do basically the same, just without zoom. i loved instagib btw, played it in clan for about 2 years. in terms of aiming, dodging and reaction time it was a very good training good old times ^^
  6. if they jump off the helicopter and parachute onto buildings, where exactly is the difference from just enter the orca as second person and then jump out over the buildings which would be within the game mechanics? dont know if thats possible as i havent tried yet, but wouldnt it even be possible to arm the beacon while standing on top of an orca/apache who hovers next to an unreachable spot (like on the ball of the hand of nod or the tower of the refinery) so the beacon itself would be up there? so you would be able to get the beacon on positions where you couldnt even land. cant describe it better right know, hope you understand ^^
  7. buy havoc, suicide, buy havoc, suicide, buy....maybe i'm a pessimist but i already see guys doing that besides griefers, i actually think it is an interesting basis for a new gamemode indeed, if such will be implemented.

"allammo" gives you infinite ammo "allweapons" is very weird, you get a strange weapon with laserballs and a funny beam as secondary (it repairs like hell though, hottie 2.0). also you get a rocket launcher that can be charged up to 3 rockets funny shit, but obviously dont work in mp. also try "changesize" (if i remember correctly), you can get a tiny or suuuperbig mammy (1.0 is standart, you cant enter/leave vehicles when changed) but i just played around some minutes in skirmish, dont know if and what effects bots etc
  9. this depends on the map imo. walls is a good example where you *can* still win with basics, mesa on the other hand is pretty much lost by just losing your airstrip/wf
  10. this big circle makes it even easier to no-scope, i cannot see your problem. just get the enemy inside and boink. what spread are you talking about? the only spread i see is when i auto fire full magazines. and since this is bad anyway, i keep shooting in bursts. maybe i played too much battlefield...;D you want every weapon to be laser-accurate until their max range is reached in full auto?
  11. works on every map while it isnt that bad on field because their advantage is small, other maps get heavily abused like flying below the map/to unaccessable spots/sneaking the nuke in. and nod cant buy their apache afaik
