Flame tanks decimate mammys. Get 2 flames and they can take out at least 3 mammies, 4 if the drivers are good.

2 things to keep in mind. While I agree with you they are annoying as hell, this is an open beta, which means the kinks are still being worked out. As well, as long as there are games there will be hackers; it's inevitable. No game is hack proof. It's just something we have to put up with and find ways to moderate. If you don't let them get under your skin, that fun they are having doing it will disappear along with the hackers themselves.

If it hasn't been said enough, and if for some reason you haven't figured it out yet. Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork. That is all.

It's not at all the maps that lack strategy, it's the people unwilling to implement strategy that makes the maps feel much smaller.

After dieing a couple of times, I have been placed in a weird spectator like mode that I cannot get out of without leaving the game and returning. Thanks!

2 posts complaining about something you've played for a few hours. This is exactly what I was afraid of.

Just a quick bug report. After repairing a mammoth tank, it seems as though it is unable to fire unless you get in and out of it several times. The reticle simply doesn't show up and the tank will not fire. I'm not sure if it is mammy only or other tanks as well. Thanks, look great so far!

The whole point of this game is that it is unique in the fact that it isn't like COD with the TDM and the like. Of course, you always have the option not to play these gamemodes so them being there doesn't make a difference for anyone who doesn't want them, and makes a big difference for those who do. So really, if the demand is there for all/some of them, might as well do them.

EA sells it on origin for download. The pack only, which is what I am trying to avoid since 2 weeks of the game isn't worth the $20. I may have found a way though so all good thanks for the help.

I am, as well, an old school player. I was 12 when the game came out and I started playing it on launch day IIRC, bot that I could ever remember my name if I tried. Is there a way to digitally get the game without having to buy the entire $20 pack? My comp doesnt have a CD drive

Ok, let me be clear because apparently I'm either not being clear or some folks are having a tough time grasping what I'm trying to say. Yes, complaints are healthy for a game, especially one in beta. If you have ever played a game that has been around for a while, you will notice everyone complaining about everything all the time and that is what I'm hoping we can avoid at least to a large extent. Feedback is great, ongoing and unending complaints are not. Is there any confusion as to what my OP was meant to do?

My desire to see this community not suffer like those other communities is what sparked it. A pre-emptive strike, as it were.

I understand it's a beta and there are changes that and fixes that need to be made, but my point was in the future I was hoping we don't become like other communities with constant complaints and the like. I guess I didn't go into enough detail as to what I was referring to. Anyway, good points made by all. 16 days can't wait!

Do not turn this into WoW or the various other MMO's ( not that this an MMO of course, but you get my point) where the entire community complains of "nerf this" or "nerf that". Play the game they give us and for gods sake dont make these fine gentlemen and ladies work any harder than they already have. Play what they give us and adapt. That is all. As an aside, I am an old Renegade player and fan, and it was hands down my favorite game ever created, so the fact that this dream of the Dev's was made a reality is a truly remarkable thing, so thanks for seeing this all the way through Dev's, you guys are awesome!
