Did you know I think Petroglyph makes bad games?

I'd recommend not wasting your time talking about your unrealistic fantasies you'd like to be added to this game. I did that for years on the official C&C forums. So no youre not getting super awesome tiberian sun tech in renegade and jesus christ isnt going to knock at your door tomorrow morning. and no tiberium wars was not a good game it was a incredibly mediocre game and EA Games continued to lower their standards after that until the franchise was entirely destroyed and no one could deny that (there are people still in denial asking why the new Generals was cancelled) BECAUSE IT SUCKED THATS WHY. You wanna know why Tiberium wars sucks? because its not canon either!. they went back to their "roots" removing all tiberian sun technology and referencing tiberian dawn and starcraft more than anything else. when louis castle was asked when the tiberium saga was going to end he said when they stop buying it. well they stopped buying it! so it ended at tiberian twilight. ran it staight into the ground. the derailing started at tiberium wars. it had horrible path finding, terrible laggy interface, no good strategies besides unit spam and pathetic harassment strats, completely resigned the universe. they had god damn apple laptops on the desk with gdi stickers on it. they cut every corner and completely raped the franchise in tiberium wars. hell emperor battle for dune looks like a better sequel to tiberian sun than tiberium wars. as far as im concerned they wanted to dodge tiberian sun and reboot the franchise to their crappy vision. im glad tiberium wars is a dead game. nobody plays it let it rot in hell. the game was okayish ... playable ... maybe even a little fun but it felt not like C&C ... they did not follow the canon and the story was dissapointing TBH, TD raised the bar very high ... and even TS did not get that high for many of the fans (I liked it a lot!) ... but TS did follow the canon ... I'm EAShortbus you probably know of me since you keep throwing around the word "canon" which was said a lot back when tiberium wars was coming out. id say they probably copied dune, star wars, alien movie, etc a little too much for some people's liking who wanted a near future modern day game like Tiberian Dawn again. i think ea looked at the stats and saw tiberian sun wasnt that highly rated and thought people couldnt relate to its exotic scifi world so they wanted to make it more relatable and upon doing so made it super gay to us ts fans. i still remember red alert and generals fans more than happy that they got rid of mechs and the other tiberian sun tech because they wanted it to be like their favorite C&C universe. so it was 3+ against us TS fans. the red alert, generals, tiberian dawn, starcraft, renegade, every day people etc fans were all against our new founded super futuristic scifi tiberian sun universe. thus tiberian sun was ignored entirely.

i played with you a minute ago :3 i didnt notice any hackers besides gdi base got nuked constantly on walls even though there were 10 guys around it and i was just over there in a chinook that failed horribly.

i did similar in battlefield with remote c4 on the fron of jeeps and jumping out letting the jeep continue to drive into enemies before detonating it. that was probably the last time i had fun playing battlefield around like 2006

i want to be able to spawn inside allied apcs and chinooks. would be cool to deploy those on the battlefield and spawn from them in enemy base. =)

seriously the reloading is all screwed up in this game i mean my god just get rid of it. invisible guns, bypassing reload time by switching and switching back guns, every time you run the reload animation stops and you just hear the reload sound, etc. this is terrible. just let it pew pew pew til youre out of ammo.

Can a staff member back this up? The staff doesnt own the rights to their own game. youd have to ask EA. you dont have anyone watching anyway and no people will ever watch the videos i just looked at you currently making. and since ea does not like anyone monetizing off of their franchises id say come up with your own videos instead of scraping bottom trying to make pennies on youtube playing video games. THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN . basically come up with your own videos. =)

From my experience since i vote quick people tend to gravitate to whatever is already being voted on but yeah it is usually the handful of good maps i like so im satisfied with it as is. def need 24/7 dedicated servers for maps. let the lamers play on the bad maps if they want.

one time i was getting in and out of my stealth tank repairing it and when i would get back in it wouldnt lock onto vehicles or even have the selection box around them so id quickly jump out and back in and then it would work again.

I guess this doesn't need to be posted but I made a thread before it came out saying I'd probably get bored of the game and I have. Some of the main reasons include: a lot of the weapons seem flimsy and useless in comparison to others. Sometimes aircraft are jittery so i started avoiding buying them. Some of the maps I didn't recognize from Renegade. One was a big forest looking map. It was not fun to play on, lol. Weapon animations need a lot of work. I haven't played original renegade in a long time but besides lag i felt it has less bugs and more fun to play because sometimes I suddenly die in Renegade x or fall through the ground etc and don't know what happened. Renegadex also seems to lack the precision and nuances of renegade like shaking screen and being damaged in building while its being shot at etc. makes it a lot less epic. i just feel a lot of times im wandering around in a graphically impressive world than a precise game like old renegade. ill probably play more later but these little things among others made me get bored. oh also i dont remember getting dominated by artillery etc so easily in renegade once i got up close to plant c4 on them there was usually nothing they could do but now i get shot even up close.

I have to agree the beacon shouldnt become immune. maybe make it turn red or have a open up animation at that given time signaling its too late?

Tribes has hit a dead end. They stopped developing for it last I herd. Only reason to do that is if they see profits dwindling and yeah I went on it a little while ago. Not many people on their servers. It's not empty but its mediocre for a company trying to make large amounts of cash off of it especially considering how viral it went a while back. And as far as I'm concerned it's only half finished. It feels pretty trashy playing it.

i dont see the pm option. this is my ip: 99.56.116.153 i doubt he will do it hes a super douche and seemed to enjoy escalating it to that point. every time i told him to unban me form something he banned me from something else.

There are other servers for Reborn that are run by other communities y'know. Where do i download and play reborn on other servers? I thought I had to go through his updating server browser program which im ipbanned from as well. I have no access to reborn website or game distributed on their site.

Only thing I don't like about the Renegade formula was the mindless ducking and dodging spraying and preying and traversing the little tiny maps but that's the core component to renegade, lol. I almost wish it played more like Call of Duty.

Well for one the Australian guy who owns the server and website ip banned me from accessing either simply because i pissed him off by what i type so i dont really care about that game anymore lol. youd think i would have had to hack the server or something to get that banned but no just by talking he got so pissed he banned me off everything just to show me who was boss.
