@TheOlsenTwins seams pretty normal behaviour to any application to store/extract temporary when is being used and afterwards getting deleted. No reason to keep the installer uncompressed after installing. It's a waste of space, that's why it get removes only keeping the base game and the original installer exectuable.

You're running the 32 or 64bit? Try running the game, check if your Anti-virus if any might be causing problems. or even checking if your computer is using the right GPU (and the most recent drivers).

Hello, I assume you're running as a Administrator, have the correct rights for your installer, that the anti-virus ins't blocking and the firewall the same. Might would've happens that you're still missing the dependencies, try downloading and installing externally, here [-Renegade X UE3 Redistributable], After that try running the launcher again.

It probably installed you the missing "UE3 Redistributable" that are require to run Unreal-Engine 3 based-games or apps.

Usually the Officials are always with players, usually from the new people and more experienced ones. Other servers are run by the community that can be different, mutators, different server settings, so you gameplay may vary. So I would say keep it the Officials and explore the others, being an member of CT ( Constructive Tyranny) Go take a look when it has, if or when it has people 😛

I've had this laptop for (4-5 years), ASUS X556URK my being the i7 7500U, 240SSD (changed to 1TB HDD, no caddy) 8RAM and the 930MX; This runs 30fps ish on default settings on my native (1080p) resolution, If i've put in 720p and leave the textures as it is, disable lightnings, bloom, depth of field and blur (and shadows up to you) I can run it 70-90 and bad scenarios if you get spammed by smokes (a lot) 20-30. This computer back then was 1'000 Euros, you might find (gaming or not) computers for a decent price that can run the games you wish. Keep In mind, buy a cooling bottom/pad helps your longevity of your laptop helping it cooling it down on more stressful / heat accumulation tasks. And cleaning the internally and changing the thermal paste would make it last for a long time 😃 Wish a good luck with the search and the purchase bud!

I just saw that the default Renegade X Launcher has a border around while the exe doesnt. Default Icon Path: %SystemRoot%\Installer\{1E0CE19D-2758-4950-B30E-F67287C74DA9}\SetupIcon (Border and small) Fixed Icon Path: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Renegade X\Binaries\UDKLift.exe (No border and a little bigger) Was this border intended or something no one ever cared? And just me or it's prettier without the border 😛

Note from my part and experience, If having issues with the editor opening or interface not looking good at all (off-set), on the properties of the .exe check the compatibility tab and disable the DPI Scaling, this was the only issue I had after getting everything setup.

Can you elaborate on your problem. You open the game and ta-da freezes? Or sometimes. Please elaborate.

@Fintevious Make sure you're running with your charger plugged-on, that your computer isn't eco-mode, that the computer isn't overheating and as @Sarie said check if you're running with your GTX960M's Dedicated GPU and not your Integrated one. Edit: Is the game installed on an HDD? If yes, check for any background activity that's impacting your performance. And presuming you've free space on the current drive.
