  1. Swap City for Field then, otherwise it sounds good Edit: There's a problem with viewing the map preview. Can you confirm which maps we need to download?
  2. Suggestion for PUG 1st October 2016. Can we play the maps in order: City, Glasses, Tunnels, Frostbite. These new maps haven't been played on PUG yet (to my knowelege). Does anyone agree or have an objection to this? Also +1 on captains selecting their teammates.
  3. Thanks for the love everyone. And yeah I have a microphone now, I want to be laughing the whole time on PUG next week, we can try some really funky strategies. Also, will be online on tonight's PUG - wouldn't miss it for the world.
  4. Fortunately humans do not live forever. Unfortunately I am human thus will not live forever. I have spent a large portion of my life playing video games and as my 20th birthday is arriving I'm slowing pushing myself away from technology. This means that I will sadly no longer be playing Renegade X. I will truly miss the marathon games as I used to cook before joining a game and continue eating pork, fruit, cereal or popcorn throughout the three hour long games. I have been playing Renegade X on and off for years, some may know me as You others as Newbie. I would especially like to thank the amazing community for being such lovely people. You all know who you are. I'm not very good at writing forums posts and my chicken has just finished cooking so I'll be off now. I plan to continue playing until October 1st 2016 - my last PUG game in which I hope to be a commander and win every game. Thanks for a great ride! PS. Love the new forums.

    Marathon PUGs

I like playing different maps for a wider variety of game styles. We could try it this week but I doubt it would be very popular among regular PUG players.
  6. I'll be online tonight and tomorrow for PUG, haven't played in a week. Let's get a headcount for PUG tomorrow. Who will be online?
  7. I didn't find it that interesting. Nothing exciting happened throughout the games. A handful of team members were helpful but it was not enough as a greater quantity of skillful players were on the opposing team.
  8. Pug was really disappointing this week, doubt i'll be on next week.
  9. Hello everyone, So last night while wondering around I met a really nice girl, today she has invited me round hers at 6pm (PUG starts at 7pm GMT), I barely know her and she's offering to cook food for me. I have a decision to make today, I'd really like to play PUG seeing that it's the first of 5.2 and possible the last PUG I'll take part in. What should I do? 1. Play PUG and leave the girl. 2. Visit the girl and smash her all night long. 3. Play PUG and visit the girl late. Although with option 3 there's no guarantee what will happen because I'll be arriving at hers quite late.
  10. Ryz has a really good point here, I would like to see that added. Sure it would look odd a nuke about to hit immediately vanishes.
  11. Even with the bugs, we're off to a good start. I haven't had time to extensively test the new patch as of yet but from what I have experienced it's been pretty fun. I added a macro so crouch every 20 milliseconds when a mine was under my feet and you feel like a rocket. My only concern is the communications centre, it's mechanics are insane. To see every player on the map is a bit too much - it encourages players to stay in base and defend knowing that they can catch someone off guard. Perhaps give it a large radius but certainly not the entire map. Another issue is sneaking, I thought that there would be something new in place to prevent this or slow it down. Sure the communications centre does help but it's only online for one team and I don't feel that this is the right way to counter attack sneaking. I would like to suggest that mines can no longer be defused with repair guns and only emps.
  12. Hello everyone, I had a blast yesterday playing PUG with you lot, here is my review. Positive: At the beginning of the games it appeared as if the teams were balanced. The idea that the losing team picks the next map is really good. Although they're usually going to pick team based maps, for example if you're Nod next, you're more likely to pick Whiteout than Under. Therefore the losing team should pick both map and side. I was a bit nervous playing my first game of PUG, the starting games I was defending the base. When I wasn't I was trying something weird with other team mates which I normally wouldn't do in public games. The games were fast paced which I liked, a building was getting destroyed at least every 10 minutes. Sometimes multiple at once (field) where I got excited seeing Quincy run into WF so I decided to take Bar. Negative: I felt we could have done a lot better if our commander set roles for us each game, for example someone protecting the base with Hotties and Möbius (searching for stealth). Some people to sneak and others in vehicles. But we still did a good job and we had a lot of fun thanks to Quincy (excellent commander). The gunner rush was definitely weird but it worked. Towards the end the majority of decent players from the other team had either lost connection or quit. When I joined the other team last minute I could only hear one or two people talking, and when the commander was giving orders for a flame rush no one was listening and doing their own thing as if it were a public game. Unfortunately I don't feel like I did the best I could have done, there were a lot of mistakes which could have easily taken out a few buildings over the games. Probably my nerves playing up. Although I was defending the base heavily in Mesa. I don't think anyone was in our base on X Mountain when they stank rushed us. I understand the commander role but did not see any objectives in my tab change. Solutions: When joining team speak, players without a mic should probably add "(no mic)" into their username to easily distinguish who hasn't got a mic. Players with microphones are a lot more helpful and create a more joyful atmosphere. It would be good to keep an equal amount of players with mics on each team. Notes: If any spelling mistakes contact Apple about iPhones auto correct. If we had 40 players online most with mics, that would be awesome. Overall: Disputes all the negatives (don't take them personally), I still had a great time and would like to thank Quincy and my team members for a great time. You guys were amazing. I would also like to thank the hosts for setting up the games, and everyone else who participated.
  13. Good to know, could we try something spectacular today? Perhaps placing beacons on every building at the same time and watching all buildings blow up together
  14. Hello all, I have the chance to play PUG tomorrow. This will be the only chance for me to play with super fast internet connection as I am moving apartments. Can't wait to play with you all, get as many people online as possible
  15. The gun also has a auto attach tag, If you use alt fire (right click) near a friendly vehicle, it will attach itself to the vehicle. They need to implement that into repair guns.
  16. I think it would be interesting to have a lot of base defences, In the current maps its very easy for stealth to destroy a building, it would be nice to have something different (new game play style).
  17. Yes I am aware of everyone else's guides. I'll attach everyone else's guides to this post in the future, real busy at the moment.
  18. I doubt they would change but it was something worth mentioning. What's the most interesting game you have played in PUG?
  19. I would really like to play PUG and have wanted too for quite some time however the servers use Team Speak which costs £3.99 to download on my phone (access to microphone). If the hosts would update to Discord we could get more players online every weekend including myself. IGN: Newbie
  20. This is absolutely gorgeous. I prefer the larger models, especially the Obelisk.
