I may just picking up parts of it, but yeah... 1. EA never paid for this project that started off as a mod and is thus not a part of EA's projects pipeline. This small gem here is based solely upon the license of C&C and thus EA. Nothing more. (Except Renegade) The rest is made out of the tears, love and body parts of the devs, providers and testers. As far as I know this started at a point where EA was still kind of public-friendly and didn't really mind free CnC Projects. 2. Free. Yup, completely free. As in "Download it. Have a great ton of fun. Play it." 3. They needed to make it free. Otherwise it would be kind of a Copyrightinfringement. And honestly, I don't mind it as free project. It's a great piece of advertising for the devs themselves if they want to start something in the game industry. 4. And it's based upon the UDK because it's usable for free for free projects. It's nearly the same thing for the CryEngine. For non-commercial projects it's usable for free. 5. As explained before... It's kind of different for the UDK. As far as I know there aren't any plans for UE4 as they had made with the UE3 and the UDK. 6. Shouldn't be. Except some self-advertising for Totem Arts That is so far my explanation. Hope you don't mind it.

So, as ITweek wants to say, Area of Gaming will be hosting some RenX Server based in Germany.

There never was a Recon Bike on a moon map honestly. Only modded. It had some flaws which was the reason why it wasn't included and these were connected to the engine.

The thing is that player amounts may be settable per Server and is not really bound by map if you've carefully watched the videos of the last Beta

Just find a bunch of guys (people) you like and play with them. Normally a clan will emerge out of this. Normally you have a lot of more fun if you play in a clan with people you like.

Dunno, I may talk kind of bullshit here [i never were into this clanstuff], but about clan fight... You may just have to join an empty server with a group you want to play with and well... that's it. "Like the old times." For the other things... Wait and you'll see

They were always called "Clans", it just changed once MMORPG's came into the gamer's life. So yeah, as I do know it will be like in the "old" Days, the same as Valor said.

"Lower End" AMD 7790? Are you serious? I'm running this game with a NVIDIA GTX 275 (well, I'm not a graphics whore either.) and am fine with it.

Do not forget that once this will be released in february that it's still a Beta. Seriously, a Beta. If you're advertising for it, which is brilliant, don't forget this important point. (It would be way too sad if people started to flame because of this.)

Would be nice if there were server flags to determine how things like this work. Renegade was an arcade game, removing too much of what made it an arcade game won't work out for the better. Any "improvements" beyond what scripts.dll added should at the most be optional in the initial release. Trust me, IF THERE ARE changes, then they're fitting in perfectly fine.

The trailer IS the official trailer. The release dates are fake whatsoever. They've even written Black Dawn wrong (maybe intentionally.) If you find fake kickstarters of RenX, just report them.

I do agree with Ban4life here. It might affect the gameplay too much and thus I'd go for the way RenAlert/A Path Beyond included Conyards. With a slow repair rate to all buildings.

It's certainly a fake. Report it. I think I do even know this troll. He once tried to sell a shitty RA2 mod. I'd even go as far and say that it's the one who registered here as zerk. That's the only one here, trying to building RenX upon a LoL-System and not even knowing how it works. (Well, some names are hilarious "Gigantor" for example.)
