So I've had a tough time getting Renegade-X to run on several computers. For the life of me, I cannot get the launcher to download/update/verify the game after trying many suggestions from other topics, so I downloaded it from the renegade x download site, which has an out-of-date game so we cannot play multiplayer. Still, the launcher does not update the game. Now one PC says that it is missing certain .dll files that the game needs to run. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Running as admin hasn't helped. I really enjoy this game, but this is getting a bit frustrating. Please help. Running Windows 10 Pro x64 build 1803.

So once I drove up to a crate and got a Scrin crate, I started flying up, but I got back in my Humvee, and I was fine; this also applies with the c4 on the head, if you get in a vehicle you won't die when it goes off). I soon got out of my Humvee, for it needed repairs, and I began to fly up into the air. I did eventually die, but it took many, many minutes of flying up.

Because Ren X went to Tiberian Sun, is there any likelihood of it expanding to include the 2007 game and the expansion to it? That was my favorite game of the C&C universe, and I was wondering if that was in the plan as the game is progressing. I love Renegade X!

Is there an option to set up a LAN game in Renegade X? If so, how would I set it up?

Will a person playing the game be able to set up a LAN game without connecting to the internet to play at home with bots and friends?

Compared to my peers my card is lower end, sorry if I caused offense with that. I upgraded from a laptop that had a Pentium M in it and a gtx 7800 go (the processor limiting it, I couldn't play C&C 3 on low settings without lag after midgame). Thanks for the replies, now I know to just turn down the settings a bit. I did have the Black Dawn demo and It averaged 40 but that's playable. The ion cannon strike caused it to go down to 20 with high (not highest) settings and 2x aa and af. I'll be well off it seems.

I don't know much about game design, but is there a chance that Renegade X multiplayer will support AMD's Mantle? I have a lower end 7790 card, and if I could get a 25% performance boost in the game from that it would be great. As I said, I don't know very much about game programming and design, so I don't know if that could ever happen. Could it?

I don't expect it to be extremely bad, I was referring to other games that are fps's, I am not a fan of that and was worried about gore coming into this game because of what other FPS's are like. It's just my question. I do not like the blood even in half life and such, small blood effects I've seen are really negligible, but I still do not like them. I don't really care as much for ragdoll and flying body physics, I just don't want chunks of flesh flying with those bodies. Because this is just a beta version of the game still, I hope that they don't add in such things.

Hello, I have played through the Black Dawn campaign. There were some settings that I could not change under the settings of blood and violence. In the multiplayer game, will there be settings to turn off the blood and gore in the game? This would be greatly appreciated, for I am not a big fan of exploding heads and blood everywhere in my games. Will this feature be included in the final release?
