1UP.com have posted this really long story about what happened with EA's ambitious cancelled collaboration with Steven Spielberg known as LMNO. So what does this have to do with Command & Conquer? It turns out that a couple of years ago EALA were working on a real time strategy/first person shooter hybrid set in the Command & Conquer Generals universe known as "Project Camacho". Here's the quoted paragraph that appears on page 4 of the article. An RTS/FPS set in the Generals universe is something I thought they would never do. It feels like a "way out there" concept. You can see this paragraph right here. If your interested, you can read the full Story Behind LMNO and it's cancellation. The article covers a lot of what has happened internally at EALA over the past couple of years. So I guess we can add this "Project Camacho" to list of other cancelled C&C games like Renegade 2, Continuum, Tiberian Incursion (2002) and of course Tiberium (2009).http://forums.cncnz.com/index.php?showtopic=14450

Make a screenshot ingame by hitting the F9 button, then browse to your screenshots folder (Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\ScreenShots). Now visit an imagehosting site (http://tinypic.com for example) and upload the image you would like to show to us. The website will give you a link back, put that (direct) link between tags and you're done.

Originally posted by Reborn -> http://forums.mp-gaming.com/thread-11789.html Program something w3d! This is the first in a series of competitions being run by MP-Gaming. This first competition is aimed at programmers, but before I start explaining, I'd like to let our Special guest announcer introduce the competition. Please click on the link below for the audio file to begin playing. Introduction How kick-*** was that?! The competition officially starts today, and I will stop accepting submissions on Nov 17th, with the announcement of who won to be expected on Nov 24th. The competition is pretty flexible, the idea being you have to submit a piece of software/application/plugin/tool etc that's been designed for the w3d engine. This could range from tools designed for the game, to adding extra functionality to the game itself. As you can see, you're able to get pretty creative and go almost anywhere you want with your submission. The idea can be as far outside the box as you like, but it has to be based around the w3d engine. The winner of the competition will have the most creative, most useful and most practical submission. These are the qualities it's being judged on. To enter, please post your submission here. Updates, pictures, movies and other WIP's are very encouraged, so please post as you go so we can all watch the progress! Now for something to be a competition, surely it must contain a prize? Have no fear, as my friend Havok already mentioned, there are prizes to be won! There are Two places, 1st and 2nd. 1st place prizes: Three Command & Conquer Renegade styled mouse pads One Command & Conquer styled drinking mug One new and sealed copy of "The First Decade" 19 SRA3 professionaly printed Command & Conquer styled posters One autographed picture of Jo "Kane" Kucan (that's right, not only does Havok endorse the compeition, but the messiah has also rubber stamped his authority over this!). 2nd place prizes: 19 SRA3 professionaly printed Command & Conquer styled posters One new and sealed copy of Command & Conquer Renegade One autographed picture of Jo "Kane" Kucan Check out the pictures below to take a look at the prizes! (warning, there's about 40mb of photo's) Limited to 4 images per post, so I posted the direct links. http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/1.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/2.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/3.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/4.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/5.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/6.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/7.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/8.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/9.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/10.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/11.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/12.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/13.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/14.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/15.JPG http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/16.JPG Below is the photo that you'll receive with Jo "Kane" Kucan's autograph! http://game-maps.net/staff/reborn/Competition/kane.jpg

You will have to downgrade. I hope I can make it. Everyone decided to come to my parents today so there are no more PCs free. I'll try and see if I can kick someone off.

Is there anyone that can point into the right direction?

Actually it does matter in maps such as Horologe. The first team to get an APC is likely to win, that's why we want to disable donating on the server the first few minutes or after the harvester has dumped its ore or when it has been destroyed.
-
I'm in! I'll be recording everything and put it on YouTube.
-
Haha, GDI doesn't have a chance
-
Haha, more con's than pro's. I'd remove it as it ****s up too much such as snipers and stealth black hands.
-
As Havoc mentioned, this is going to be a problem with SBH's
-
I doubt that's going to happen because the client needs to have the same files as the server and vice versa.

Hehe it was one good rush. [video=youtube;Q2PzBdqYCiA]

What wasn't mentioned was this: Just invite ten friends (which means 10 frag points - 1 point per person you invite) to take part in this massive giveaway pact and you'll be first in line to receive one the moment the giveaway ends. We're giving away Razer's award winning gaming peripherals to gamers who dare to step up to the ante. Just be the top ten gamers to score massive frag points by inviting others to witness the ultimate giveaway by Razer.

Buzzer's bot has a nick protection function, but it was never released. If there's a lot of abuse going on he might release it.
