  4. To me (I may be wrong), Nod's specialty is characters. And things that do magic. GDI makes up for that with sheer firepower. Plus, walking on tiberium isn't really all that special. You have a point with the PIC suit, although I dont think any gameplay changes should be made. i suggest we move the alternate blue costume for the 1k sydney over to the tib rifle sydney as an alternate costume, and leave the Protoype Suit costume for the 1k sydney, so no one would get confused as to why the blue outfit takes as much damage as the prototype suit. Just my two cents.

  9. What about "Renegade: To Command and Conquer"? I think the phrase appeared on the multiplayer loading screen. Although "Renegade: Unreal" sounds the most reasonable to me.

  13. I don't think this thread is meant to be serious, or to 'advise' the team in any way. Just for the members to express to each other what they'd like to see next. Just another one of those "your favorite Song/Unit/Mod/whatever" fun threads. But like I said, good work already team, keep at your own pace, we're not rushing you.

  16. harvs are always dumb, even good AIs arent much better than the old AI if its controlling a big slow hulk with no weapons. no offense.
  17. I dont really like the idea of a separate hand-grenade in the game. Just would change renegade too much. Although minor upgrades for the launcher and flamethrower would be nice.

  20. if u guys have a bunch of spare time you could might as well make taunts for all the major languages. I'd love to taunt people in chinese and have no one understand what theyre being insulted about of course, that's just up to you.
  21. Will u guys be making a black stealth black hand as well? Just seems proper to have black alternatives for all stealth units, if the stank is going to have one. But good idea, cant wait to see it
  22. eh, whatever. despite being a whole lot overdue, and even if you guys already mapped Walls_Flying, i'll post my idea for Walls_Flying here. The map takes place at the border of GDI and Nod territory, where both sides have erected concrete walls and static defenses spanning the entire length of the border line, almost parallel to each other, to secure their borders. The map is a border crossing point, where, in the past, certain people could go from one territory to another. (hence the large gates) The large mesa between the bases would be just a regular mesa, except a small village was built onto it (like one of those places where doors, windows, and stairs are built into the stone.) these remnants of buildings are seen on the side cliffs as well, but those stairs and buildings are very squished into the cliffside, so heli pilots can't land there. The narrow strip of land between the two border walls have been extensively shelled by Nod with tiberium, hence the small Tiberium fields used by both bases.
  23. I was going to get UT3 once we get the new desktop, just because of this mod, but now the new comp is acting all strange. (stupid Vista!) games won't work, etc. ah well. guess i'll just rally u guys on.

  25. wow. I saw this topic way after the contest's due date. I had a kinda good idea for Walls Flying anyway... did u guys declare the winner yet?
