  1. Yea the ground in that area is amazingly glitchy. If you know where to do it you can send vehicles through solid rock and straight into t̷̬̮̝̜͒̽͒͒͘̚͠h̸̗̊̈̈́ę̸̬̱͚̅̃̇̄ ̵̗̭̳̈́v̸̼͛̀͐o̴̩͇͍̊̽̅̍i̶̮̅͌͒̈ḑ̸̜͕͂.

You can also launch mammoths into orbit with a bit of fidgeting. Don't ever change SnowX's glitchyness. It is literally the only way the map is fun. Otherwise I'd have to actually play.

  3. They suck.

Make them not suck. No one has ever used a flame tank before in RenegadeX. Do something to the poor piece of filth.

  4. I'm willing to bet that this problem is related to player experience and the sheer amount of times that we've all played the same maps.

Player counts are honing in on what they used to be before the Firestorm trailer. As that happens we are getting closer to having the majority of players that are part of the core group of renx that always stick around. We're all fairly experienced with this game and know the odds and ends of gameplay. Nod's cheeky stealth tactics don't tend to work well when plenty of GDI players know the best Nod strategies/hiding spots/sneak paths for sbh and stanks.

As for maps, I'm sure a lot of people have island/field/walls/under counts in triple digits for times played. A good example would be how everyone who plays Islands knows which building to check first if GDI's mine count drops. This and tons of other examples across all the maps we've played countless times turns Nod's sneak tactics more into a strategy that is highly luck based, even if teamwork is being utilized well. So these days Nod is having to go more head-to-head against GDI, and well... good luck with that.

Got 2 solutions. One is to just wait for Firestorm to come out. That will bring in legions of new players and re-invent the meta along with adding new maps.

The other solution which I am in favor of and believe to be the best idea is to r̵e̷q̶u̶i̵r̸e̷ ̴a̴ ̶b̵l̷o̸o̵d̵ ̵a̷l̸c̷o̵h̸o̵l̶ ̷l̶e̵v̸e̷l̵ ̷o̸f̶ ̵a̷t̶ ̵l̴e̶a̷s̷t̵ ̵0̶.̶1̵0̸ ̷i̷n̶ ̵o̸r̵d̷e̵r̷ ̴t̷o̶ ̸p̶l̴a̴y̷ for players with hours greater than 100. That would make balance much more fair.

  5. 1 - Daybreak (got to be the funnest map for me. Rushing is a hard thing to get away with, especially early game. It is just different from most other maps in a way I can't explain. Scouting is very important on this map. Nod in general can get away with some cheeky shit, as can GDI if they play their cards right. But in general as long as both teams have a few people scouting their base weaknesses, all the cheeky shit can be avoided.)

2 - Lakeside (Never played a match of Lakeside I hated, cept for the 3 hour ones. Plus it has h̷̛͕̀í̶̮̅s̵̪̼̙̏ ̴̢̓͒d̴̗̫̞̉̑̎o̵̠͂͐̚͝m̷̝̮̦̽͌̉̎ả̸̱̪̰͚̍i̵̜̬̓̀́̊ṇ̵͍̩̄̈́̓̑͜ in it.)

3 and 4 - Steppe and Desolation (Both maps are fun and move away from the standard tiny ass maps where rocket rushing is the only viable option for winning.)

5 - Crash Site (Highly underappreciated map. I know its broken in some aspects, like the chem troopers being so op its not even funny, but the atmosphere of this map is perfection.)

Every other map in the game sucks cept maybe gold rush. Change my mind.

  6. The !noob and !rec commands are a type of speech in-game. Like all speech and language it can be used to many different effects. Language can be used to praise others, insult people, and 57 thousand other uses. It's pretty cool when you think about how multi-layered language can be when you take into account connotation.

Point is, you can use the !noob command ironically for comedic effect, and it serves a purpose just beyond being an insult. Say you are on a team with a really good commander that has led you to victory against all odds. !noobing them after the match is obviously a joke, everybody would agree. The !noob command can also be an insult if used in a negative connotation.

But what are you going to do? Just ban every single person who has cast an insult at another person? Anytime an argument comes up in-game just ban the person who is being the meanest?

Freedom of speech is a good thing I hope we can all agree. The !noob command is a type of speech/expression and banning it would be dumb. We don't have to agree on everything, but I respect your ability to !noob me in game. Also take a look at the reaction button in the bottom right corner of this message. I also respect your choice to hit the dislike reaction.

It's reported that it was 2.750 tons of ammonium nitrate that was "left unsecured for six years in a warehouse".

Ah, so just like the Chinese warehouses that blow up once a year but are never reported. Negligence at its finest.

  8. I was gonna make some edgy joke about Lebanon being the the typical Islands match, but damn that was a bad incident. Nearly 150 people instantly killed and over 5000 people wounded. Not to mention the large number of people who went deaf.

shit looks like a hydrogen bomb. Wonder if terrorists were involved or it was just some accident.

  9. I think if it could be bound to one team thatd be nice.

As in no one on that person's team can take it when it spawns but the enemy team sure as heck can.

Nothing makes me sicker than when a teammate steals a crate vehicle out from under you.

  10. Alright I had a similar problem with the vehicle lock key when I bound L to something else. Here's the only fix:

    Reinstall the game.

Some commands are so fucking obscure you will NEVER be able to find them in the list of controls (customizable or by console). Unless you are able to do "setbind Q spotting"

Just re-install the game and it'll all go back to normal otherwise you can't command. It's the only thing you can do.

Be very careful when binding any key on your keyboard as this shit happens to me constantly.

  11. The newest recon bike is an abomination. A sexy looking one at that, but its like that one horrible lecherous woman you know. Sure she is pretty, but her personality is rotten to its core and she manipulates everyone around her to be miserable. She's just an irredeemably terrible person and you get real tired of all these recon bikes driving around sucking your soul out.

Now the original attack cycle, there's a woman. Might not be as pretty as the aforementioned  walking pile of loathsome hate above, but she has a really good personality. She seems to genuinely care about YOU and all the others around her. There's no manipulation or an attempt to make you miserable going on whatsoever. No, she wants everyone to be happy. That's the kind of girl I would take.

Unfortunately though Renegade X is like real life in the fact that the large majority of people tend to be like the newly added recon bike, and nowadays its a rare sight to see that beautiful and stunning attack cycle. Man I sure do miss her often. But when we do cross paths once in a blue moon, it's something spectacular.
