Kilroy
Out of curiosity, has anyone tried running RenX with a Steam Controller? I've been trying to. It works for about 5 seconds in the menus and then the cursor becomes unresponsive. Anyone have any idea what could be going on?
Totem Arts Staff NodSaibot Posted March 17, 2019 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted March 17, 2019 The menus do not support controllers.
Kilroy
Yes but the Steam Controller sends input as a mouse. It is a mouse, effectively. My problem is that it works as normal in the menu and in game for a couple of seconds and then it goes unresponsive. I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with this. Totem Arts Staff NodSaibot Posted March 17, 2019 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted March 17, 2019 Does your mouse still work when the controller doesn't?
Kilroy
Yes. Controller can still move the mouse around on the desktop when I alt-tab out. Doesn't like RenX tho. It's worth noting that I also use this controller to play World of Warcraft and Civilization occasionally.
Totem Arts Staff NodSaibot Posted March 17, 2019 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted March 17, 2019 Are you in fullscreen or windowed mode? I've played this game with an XBOX controller before and it worked find, outside of the menus.
Madkill40
I had that Steam Controller issue with Rocket League to be honest, my only fix was to plug it in via usb cable to stop it from suddenly not responding... Kinda sucks when it is supposed to be an wireless device
