Darkraptor
hi everybody, when i was playing today renegade-x, i noticed a lot of new players in the opponent team. Its good to have new players. But they played very bad. So i think what renegade-x need is a topic in the game menu what is called "How to play". This Topic explains all buildings, classes, weapons and vehicles. And it should gives advance tips, especially: - How to lay mines right - Thats "Q" a very important function is - How to use an airstricke right - That you can defuse mines, C4 and beacons. - that you can change your sidearms I know there are tutorial videos, but they are not implanted in the game. Truxa
Hmmm, instead, it should be a tutorial map tho, to make it more practical Great idea, tutorial map! A must-play map prior to multyplaying to explain the basics of the game and e.g. mining tactics

Truxa
On Under? The Renegade tradition No, in the original ren, there was this tutorial map simulating a Nod assault and explaining every building function, as well as the MCT and certain weapons. It's fairly small and can be recreated, while adding a prepping time to e.g. correctly "mine up" the attacked building.
Totem Arts Staff Handepsilon Posted November 6, 2014 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted November 6, 2014 Oh, right that! That sounds pretty good too actually. Love how Sydney shots Havoc for no good reason (btw, Sydney, not Hotwire, right?) But btw, if it would be recreated, the complete version of the buildings should be made, right? GDI PP and Ref had a lower level in tutor

GDI PP and Ref had a lower level in tutor True, ref and pp had lower levels and yes, it was Sydney using the pistol to shoot Havoc to indicate the armor and health loss when wearing armor or no armor. I think, as we don't have the solo-version, smaller version of the existing buildings would suffice. Just scaling them down a bit so it's isn't an overly big map for this tutorial purpose. Gunner will instruct weapons use and their potency, etc etc. And as a finale e.g., the intro for the finale would be like to defend the barracks as a Nod simulated attack would go for barracks. To do this, you would need to place 4 mines in the marked area's (4 each doorway; not the sandbag area)
