It's official via a press release.

Midway and Epic today announced the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3, the highly anticipated first-person shooter scheduled for release in November 2007. Please see below for all information regarding these requirements along with newly released screenshots from the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3.

Minimum System Requirements

* Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista

* 2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor

* 512 Mbytes of System RAM

* NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card

* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Recommended System Requirements

* 2.4+ GHZ Dual Core Processor

* 1 GBytes of System RAM

* NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card

* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space[/b]

wow i meet the minimum requirements...

wonder why it has 7800GTX/x1300 or higher

7800 is way better than a x1300 must be a typo or nvidia cards must not handle UT3 well.

Cool I'm a bit over the min. Sys requirements.

6600 GT + 3,06 Ghz P4 with Hyperthreading + 1 GB Ram

8 Gigs....are they crazy?!? Omg... yeah okay I have enought: 400 Gigs in my computer and 40 Gig in an external HDD.

Your case is different, your not even in the same league graphics card version, so it is better for you.

The problem for me is that it is only 1 version below recommended specs. > :(

I can almost run that on this five year old heap of junk. smile.gif

Main PC = way over, planned new PC (I <3 birthdays) will be WAY over. So I'm happy, I'm glad they released this.
