Renegade always.dat

I used to have a folder on my old PC with all the always.dat files from C&C Renegade extracted to it, in a form where I could open up any sound or texture in C&C Renegade. I downloaded that somewhere about 6 years ago. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find something like that, or do it myself, now that I have a new PC and forgot to back up that folder.

Download XCC utilities , use XCC Mixer to open Always.dat and click (or shift click top and bottom of a list) on what you want to extract and right click and select extract (it only extracts 1 file on the directory u pick [did it for me ] but you can find all the others on the program's install directory )

RenegadeEx can open and extract always.dat.

Or you could always try winrar.

That's the first thing I try. If that doesn't work, then game extractor and after that fails I'll start searching for real programs.
