  1. Laughable analogy. We are talking about guns, presumably lethal ones. Besides, the GDI still gets grenadiers for free, so your argument topples over immediately.
  2. Listen to yourself. "This thing can change but the other one cannot because I say so"
  3. None. Do you need a sound to know you killed someone? Stay plebeian forever.
  4. I went back to DCS World. Sorry for liking what's popular
  5. Almost stopped reading here. It is impossible to ask people to make an independent evaluation, unless they are completely new to gaming. Many people are only asking for things they have seen work in other games; this does not become a bad thing solely because these features are found in other games. Neither should tradition trump potential improvements. On most other points you made I do not disagree. This way of assessment I do somewhat disagree with, because by that reasoning you could make the argument that the free classes are supposed to suck because they're cheap.
  6. Yes, wow, a few months before 1942 and ~1.5 years before CoD. Is this some kind of hipster thing?
  7. I registered to tell wastes of oxygen like you to fuck off. Good god, "CoD this BF that" is not going to become a valid argument by you mongoloids saying it over and over again. Listen to this dev guy, he sounds reasonable.
  8. From what little I've played, I have to agree. Nod has tons of different infantry types but there has to be a reason you tend to see disproportionate numbers of Raveshaws.
  9. Well, so do the vehicles, but it's really no worse than Planetside 2 and I'm not exactly expecting another ARMA. I do hope it gets slowed down and some of the weapons buffed just to make them feel less 'floaty'.
  10. Is there, then, inherent value in balance? In this case it is. I may provide an example if you've ever played Renegade and one of it's mods. IF there's just ONE really overpowered unit (as the Havoc/Sakura may have been called in vanilla Ren) it kills the fun. And that's not the case in RenX in my opinion. I'm afraid I haven't. I think right now the infantry in Ren:X kind of blurs together (everything feels UP) and the game really could do with a slightly slower pace. That's all I can think of for now.
