When me and friends play together, we usually just use razer comms, or steam group chat. It works.

So will we be getting moderators at least? I'm still hoping for an anti-hack system, but with moderators combined and admins, it will be a solid anti-hacking system, not perfect but solid.

I'm with you on this one. As for the new players, well, we're the vets of Renegade, we know the game inside and out, and we love it just the way it is. Of course we will feel insulted when people propose changes. But this is Renegade-x, it's done in the hope of renewing the community, of expanding the community. Instead of being harsh, and brash, let's all turn to guiding n00bs to the true beauty that is the Renegade RTS, and boink them while doing it! We will bring them to enlightenment!

So that's how you like it? Whelp. Alright, look guys there's one guy in this base... show's over, go home, you can't do crap now, better wait and save up until until you have guys with nukes to spam beacons everywhere. I've had to spam them panel quite a few times myself but imo it just feels cheap and it looks extremely dumb. Another good example is when one team essentially is beaten and getting camped in their last building - game is effectively over, but the "winning" team can't do anything until someone brings over a beacon because they can't the fight the guys inside the building thanks to the so called "base advantage" and they can't out damage 3-4 engineers inside spamming heal on the control panel. That's just extremely lame if anything. But hey, at least that gives the losing team ample time to quit from the server amirite? Or put up a magnificent last stand depending on you how you see it.

It really pains me to see players grading a game by comparing to other more popular games like (Kane forgive me for this) CoD or Battlefield. Next thing you know they will start asking "can you quickscope in this game?" I have been asked this question IN GAME once, and it annoyed me to no end. I really do not like that kind of reviewing, like what BroTranquility says, do not compare it to other more well known games, grade is it was meant to be played, look for what is unique about it, look for the FUN FACTOR. PLAY THE GAME BECAUSE KANE WILL BE PLEASED.

Well when you are aiming your gun at more than 10 guys, it's kinda hard to keep track on who exactly you're trying to kill.

I do not mind staying in inventory after you die, but the part where they carry over into the next match is troubling.

At least we won't have to deal with Juggernauts like in Firestorm.

It's good to be back playing Renegade once more after so many years. As my name states, I'm a nod player all the way, though being out of the game for quite so long I'm really rusty, but at least it's coming back to me slowly.

Im infantry through and through, deploying airstrikes I dont really have a problem with, especially if im a stealth blackhand.
