    "Boink" sound effect seems very misplaced in this game

    It was confirmed that there will be an option to change the sound in a future release.

    WHY?! It's a fucking sound people need to get over their first world problems sometimes.

    Pandering to these fools is going to ruin the game next thing you know infantry could possibly get killed easily like in cod just because it's not like new games.

    Nod's vehicles seem very under powered the stank used to be capable of destroying a med if you are good and driving it.(stanks were faster and more maneuverable and did a little bit more damage) The light tank in the original renegade used to be a decent but weaker tank but in this it seems to be total garbage compared to the gdi vehicles.(The armor seems underpowered or something I am not sure.)

    So how are Nod players handling Mammoth rushes?

    Air strikes need to be removed so that team play is actually important to crushing a defence or offence.

    one hit wonder airstrikes belong in CoD not renegade.

    No Call of Duty did not invent airstrikes, war invented airstrikes stop calling typical war strategies call of duty.

    I think all war video games should have air strikes what recent war hasn't had bombing?

    We were founded in 2010 out of the remains of the WittebolX Gaming Community, and grew to become one of the biggest names in alterIWnet's/fourDeltaOne's Modern Warfare 2 dedicated server listing.

    We however, grew to realize that CoD is for losers (NTAuthority ceased all production on all 4d1 projects)

    and changed our core focus to Minecraft and Renegade X.

    Our Minecraft server has become one of the most popular on Gametracker, peaking at #2 in the USA thus far.

    It is a semi-vanilla survival server where it is completely allowed to raid, grief, PvP, and betray anyone and everyone.

    *If using a hostname will not work then ignore this as using my IP will not be suitable.

    Any particular reason why?

    Well I have a dynamic IP but for my domain I'm using a Dyn Standard DNS so everything works out for that excluding a direct IP connection without looking up my IP at the time. Business Internet here is horrible pricing for the bandwidth... :/

    *EDIT: I am finding some info that points to the Lease on Rogers Dynamic IP's to be vary long and rarely change... so If that's the case: 99.249.16.88

    I highly suggest renting a dedicated server from a datacenter I doubt a home connection will work well for Renegade X Or at least a VPS.(Needs to be a windows server though.)

    You guys are awesome for your reactions. I forgot all that information because it is so far in the past. I really hope to play again with all those old players!

    I'll download IRC again when Renegade X is released and hope to find out what Kamuix is doing with renegade nowadays!

    I'll definately join thepeopleclan server when I can finally download Renegade X!

    We will have an IRC server ready in few days here.(irc.thepeopleclan.net) We havn't needed irc for a long time to be honest but renegade x changes that of course. We mostly communicate on teamspeak3 as a community.(ts.thepeopleclan.net)

    thepeopleclan.net is offspring of the american side wittebolx.

    Pyschodad(wgcdad9), noman09, drdanthrax, seanlad, and I were from Wittebolx.

    The old game is still running. Create an account at xwis, log in and play! You do need your own Renegade serial code for the account. One other thing I recommend is getting the latest scripts. It improves a lot and allows you to automatically download fanmaps for example.

    I believe most servers kick you if you do not have scripts 4.0 from Tiberian Technologies.

    Same health I would assume. It's classified as an arcade game because it's really not all that realistic. It just makes for good gameplay.

    Well I just feel the health is a bit obnoxious and in the original renegade sniper rifles were unbelievably unbalanced when it came to all other weapons.(besides the volt and laser chain gun of course.)
