    Wanna bet those weapons would have looked better if EA games didn't put the slider on 10x more speed, making westwood change a lot of stuff around? ;)

    Give the development team some time and you will get it how Westwood would have wanted it, rather than EA games :) .

    (PS: New apc for example beats the old 1 by far, if you don't like it... don't play it, it's free anyway)

In the gameplay footage videos (for example http://www.moddb.com/mods/renegade-x/video...meplay-footage), you only see the target's health when you are actually mouse-over'ing that target, unlike renegade where the bar stays for a bit. Will this be changed to old Renegade or will it stay like it is now? (good thing of this, is that you can't see where someone is behind a wall after that player toke cover, so I wouldn't mind if it stays like this, just wondering)

    Probably related to the same thing.... Stuff not being finished yet.

    FAGs should read the FAQ more....
    (fucking gun, gay etc?)

    I did record it, but it's too boring to edit. All you see is me destroying gdi harvester with chem sprayer and after that you will see arty -> field -> kill some -> lose it -> get a new arty -> -> field -> kill some -> lose it -> get a new arty -> -> field -> kill some -> lose it -> get a new arty -> -> field -> kill some -> lose it -> get a new arty, then you see barracks, powerplant going down and then wf/ref/AGT getting whored from bridge.
  7. AFAIK the black version is the game, the 2.0 patch, and the Titan Pack.

    Though you could get it for $15 online :) .

  8. The fact that you can avoid dying when your flying vehicle gets destroyed already changes the gameplay, cause the person in it could be a sniper destroying your orca/apache..... if it gets implemented it has to be a server-side option really.

  9. Sucked a bit that the first server was lagging before we even started and second server was hosted from some home connection in the US making it not the best connection to Europe, but it was for sure doable on city AOW.

    Was a great game and kudos (from my side) go to Xim, clown, Armada & Meits4Delta for showing some great teamwork (those were the guys that were fighting close to me pretty much all game so I can't really talk about the others)! :D

    Oh, if anyone wants a link to the C&C_City score screen -> *click*

    (which was by far 1 of the best bigger rounds I've ever played in all those Renegade years (sure it happens more often that you get a long game that doesn't really turn to 1 side till the last 5 min of the game, but there was teamwork everywhere and on Nod side the communication about the lower field & bridge support requirements were just awesome) and a lot more fun than Walls/Hourglass (I had to go after Walls, so I don't know what happened after those 3).

    Make a shortcut to game.exe, for example:
    C:\Westwood\Renegade\Game.exe and add this behind it:
    +connect 75.126.220.122:8769 +netplayername DXR_13KE
    making it:
    "C:\Westwood\Renegade\Game.exe" +connect 75.126.220.122:8769 +netplayername DXR_13KE



    Renegade Demo had all this information in server.ini, never saw it in the full version FDS sadly, resulting in many fv players not knowing that Renegade can use shortcuts ....

    If you don't mind... the next what? weeks, month(s)? Because your post basically tells me 2 things:
    -1: You won't be giving updates till end of summer
    -2: You will be giving updates, but not many (if any) videos during the next few weeks, but there will be news posts.

    I don't know what the team has done during april/june/july (so far), but the powerplant(s) & refinery(s) aren't (or weren't) finished yet. They looked gray (no texture yet).

    They were also working on a new Havoc & missing GDI/Nod infantry (and the AGT I think)?

    After thinking about it, it was a stupid question anyway... The cargo plane would either have to spit out flares while it is still far away or it would have to shoot them in the middle of the nod base, burning people's head off.

    You should practise it a bit more then... ;)
    Making headshots (or close to with body shots, damaging someone to like 50%) with grenaders on long range is pretty easy when you practise it.

    An alt-fire sounds fun though, but it would be nice if it doesn't make that weapon more overpowered than it already is (overpowered: insane damage, can kill 10 people solo if you practise it, whores tunnels like cake at the beginning of a game and best of all: can shoot around corners... you can kill people around rocks while they can't hit you).
  17. I really don't see the problem with the main page being down. The "old" design was showing a bunch of mysql errors and the only usefull link was the link to the forums.

    It would be nice to have a working website around the mod's release, but the forums do the job well for news/wips/questions :) .
