  1. If you bought a sakura, what would you have spended those $€¥£1000,-- (let's just say credits, yah? ) on? A ramjet rifle? Or 150 additional health? Yet a sakura is never going to earn her money back by shooting infantry. Do you know how long it takes until you sniped 1000 credits worth of cash? Don't remove tiberium weapons from the side-arm list. Only make them more expensive. And please reduce the silo credit rate from 1.5 to 1 credit per second.... I'm still ending up on profits in a match like field with the silo, and i rambo a lot ingame in order to get something going.
  2. The concept of this game is not even ripped of from Shogo M.A.D... It's an exact clone. It's like they made an exact copy of Shogo M.A.D, removed the anime, added jumpsuits, regenerating health and more modern weapons (for some, Shogo M.A.D also had futuristic weapons). Why they decided to like exactly copy a obscure 90's game, i don't know. I don't know either how they managed to get away with it without getting sued... Although the game itself does look kinda cool. Indeed, it's incredibly hyped though.
  3. They do explode while hugging the wall, but their trigger radius has decreased (i've done some testing and it's only slightly smaller then in C&C Renegade, yet that small diffrence makes a big impact though). Also, iran, i have tried mining the top of the door before. They will explode. But placing them has become a lot more difficult, because sometimes they don't stick into the wall, but the top of your mines sometimes stick to the top edge of the door like if it hovers in the air.
  4. If i bought myself a hotwire with a tiberium autorifle with the sole purpose of destroying an enemy building, and i would die, means i wasted 600 credits and got nothing in return. How long would i have to actually wait to get that money back? 3-5 minutes. How many tries would it take for an average person to pull this off? A lot. You simply don't have the money to repeat the process over and over. And if you get spotted while in the enemy base, an autorifle is sadly not going to save you. Not even a volt rifle would. If i bought the same stuff in order to repair vehicles, what do i get return? Splash damage constantly chipping away my health, and maybe die a slow death. Would a defensive weapon help me in such a situation? Nope. If your tank dies, you die. 600 credits wasted. If i bought the same stuff again in order to repair a building... What the hell do i need myself a carbine for? Just repair the building, not shoot it with your brand new sidearm! An engineer is only good at what it's supposed to do, as explained by my wall of text above. A better side-arm is not going to help you sneaking into a base, because what you need is stealth. A better side-arm is not going to help you while healing an ally because he's the one with weapons capable of decimating infantry and/or vehicles, not you. If you let him die, you're powerless. The only moment where it would be useful is while you're still on your way to something/someone. As you want to be able to safely arrive at your preferred position. From there on your allies will take over the shooting. And if you're really that much of a lone wolf (like me)... I wish you the best of luck... You'll need it. So do I.
  5. Goldrush and Mesa II are my favourite maps so far. And Tbh... Goldrush is not Nod biased at all. I've been practicing some walking routes on an empty server as GDI, and i managed to get in every building on my second try. If you take the time to learn all the paths, it's a beautifully made map with many paths to a building.
  6. Lmao, why only mention the chinese community?
  7. I would totally love to see this feature return. Locking to a target is too easy at the moment, so i'd preferably see this feature return at the cost of locking rates.
  8. Mines in Renegade X have a much smaller trigger radius but deal has it's damage significantly increased. I'd rather have it the other way around because i now have to mine every tunnel with 'multiple layers' in order to prevent people from running past them without blowing up.
  9. Tech buildings should slowly turn neutral if they aren't being 'maintained' over the course of a few minutes.
  10. Well, they did in the original. That's why i've learnt the hard way to keep a distance from someone who's about to pick up a crate... Kaboom!
  11. Sorry, but this is exactly the point of a crate. If there is no risk factor then why the hell even add them to the game, if the only thing they could do is inbalance the game by giving the enemy an advantage. This has been in most C&C games. The chance you get a death crate should be made smaller though.
  12. As cool as it sounds, i'm afraid stuff like this is only going to support campers. Maybe if you were only allowed to build them in your own base, like a cannon emplacement on top of the War Factory.
  13. Oh my, someone give those love birds a room asap!
  14. Volcano > City_flying
  15. Turrets alerted a skilled player someone was trying to infiltrate the base (the turret placed next to the refinery warned for a powerplant walker, the turret placed at the obelisk alerted for an obelisk walker, the one at the hand of nod alerted for a HoN-walker). The guard towers basically did the same (The one at the refinery alerted for a refinery walker, as the GDI didn't have to fire at him, etc etc...). Neither of them were able to kill enemies, yet both of them could alert people if their base was infiltrated.
  16. C&C Renegade was a in a similar situation. their game was not finished yet but they eventualy were forced to release it anyhow. it was very buggy on release but nevertheless was a good game, and still holds an active playerbase 12 years later.
  17. 10/10 would bang!
  18. Put a gun emplacement similiar to the one at Whiteout at both bridges (locked to their respoective teams), and give the obelisk a lower range. In C&C Renegade, the AGT had a near unlimited range, for good reason. It had to compensate for low firepower. The nod obelisk instead has it's range doubled, keeps charged for a while and still does 300 damage to anything it touches.
  19. To clarify: - Totem Arts does want to bring the game to steam, but are still waiting for permissian from EA as far as i know; - Even if they had permission, they still need to bring this game out of open beta for a chance to be accepted in the steam 'catalogue'.
  20. At least someone gets it... I do admit healing infantry on the move in C&C Renegade was easier, but you were never supposed to heal infantry while they were in combat. You're more likely to get yourself killed before you fully healed that mobius.
  21. You're actually able to make base defences ignore if you're all covered in mines or remotes, because they can't get a good shot on you. This is not a valid reason to put a ban on flaming, i don't know what will (i've tested this myself).
  22. The GDI and Nod announcer sounds sound quite inprofessional, but fine nonetheless. They talk too slow, don't talk very clearly but still do the trick.
  23. A purchaseable repairgun... What? I'm not even going to discuss this. Just NO. Orca's and apaches are fine, but ramjets should do less damage to them indeed, for the rest they're just fine. Adding driveable harvesters would flood the economy system, this really would not be a good idea, as cool as it is though. Keeping harvesters as stupid as they are right now is actually quite important, really. Only thing it did when the enemy had the field was pushing allied tanks straight into their death, with the harvester dying staight after. So yeah... Mines need a bigger trigger radius, you need to be pretty damn close to them if you want to make them blow up.
  24. You can also enter the IP adress of the server you want to join, if you can't find the one you're looking for without changing the sorting order. You can find it under the name of the server itself.
  25. You know that Nod stole their lazer technology from GDI and further developed the that technology from the lazer rifle and rail gun into a lazer chaingun and an obelisk of light, right? As long as there is a Blossom Tree Tiberium will regrow in that said area. Trees cannot grow either if there is no furtile soil to live on.
