the reason you can only carry 3 weapons was not because UDK had limited slots it was because it gave more strategy to the game play and after playing Black Dawn i have to agree with them.

the only command I found useful was "addbluebots (number)" this way I can fight more foes, I found commando too easy so this made it more interesting.

in New Zealand all our internet plans have data caps our government has invested in fiber optics but they won't be ready till 2013. i'll just ask a friend who gets free internet at his work to download black dawn.

Black dawn is 3GB and my plan is $2 per GB that's a total of $6 dollars I'll have to pay to my ISP, a small price to pay

a lot of discussion here but i thing Jam might want some questions.
my question is what features have you done to the game that showcase the physics.
(mentioned in a previous video but I want examples)

I would prefer naval yards. In the good old renegade, when you destroy the vehicle production before your own defences are down, your enemy has almost no chance of destroying anything in your base, same with losing a naval yard. So if you lose your naval yard, I would suggest one, maybe two civilian boats that can carry infantry across, other option was already mentioned, the WF and strip could be capable of building hovercraft in case of naval destruction.
Also, swimming should be looked at, swimming would be a good alternative to reach the enemy shoreline, but weapons should be disabled during swimming (with the exception of pistols or sub-machine guns maybe), otherwise, ships would be useless as players would dive under and shoot the boat from below.
Maybe limit swimming, if you start to swim, your stress meter goes down. If your meter runs out, your health starts to go down until you find somewhere to rest..
I think that mite work well I'm convinced.

What's the problem with that?
i understand where your getting at but when new games modes such as capture the flag and death match come out a safe zone could wreck the fun.
this could result in flag hoggers for capture the flag and in deathmatch, wimps

while pondering the possibility of naval yards I realised something, if one team's naval yard gets destroyed the other team then has a strong advantage they could just buy a boat and travel on water. This is where the problem will occur they will be in a zone where the enemy can't reach. the only solution I could think of is making all these maps have aircraft support so they can still be destroyable. Not trying to appear that I'm extremely anti-navy just something I should mention.

my idea for navy is that you can buy a hover craft from the weapons factory or airstrip. the hovercraft should be fast, defenceless but cheap and can go on water useful for a map like Islands. I don't think we should get too focused on navy because that's not the tiberium universe that's the red alert universe

Third, it seemed to me that the AGT doesn't really have a minimum range like it did in C&C Renegade. Is this true or did I just happen to be in the wrong spots at the wrong times when playing?
i think the advanced guard tower always had infinite range you just have to be seen by one of the little guns to be shot at therefore you couldn't be shot at when in blind spots. However the advanced guard tower will not shot you if you get too close. These rules apply with the obelisk as well.

In the video it says that there will be an assault mode but it didn't say how it would work. There, I answered half of your question Jam can do the rest.

yes Black Dawn is a new version coming soon. You will not need UT3 for this version because it will be standalone. This will not be Multi player, it just a champaign.

black dawn is a upcoming standalone single player campaign where you play as a GDI commando, Havoc. Black Dawn will contain new features that may get included in the upcoming standalone multi player game. Black dawn will be released when it's done.

bots are not in Renegade x at the moment. Bots will be in the multi player UDK version which will be out when it's done.

free for all or teamed, players collect a ball at the centre of the map. He who has the ball scores a point every time they keep the ball for a certain amount of time. However a clock counts down to there death, they can only add time to the clock if they kill an enemy. Most points at end of round wins.
