Hey just wanted to say goodbye Canada, I'm leaving tomorrow morning! Toronto and Montreal were really cool and I actually got to meet some awesome people. Ottawa instead, I didn't like it too much. It was all about museums and nightlife was really silent. At times I was amazed that you have dresscodes in bars but I got used to it pretty quickly. I also went to Stevie Wonder's concert but it wasn't organized that well (at least it was free). Thanks for everyone who gave hints about the places to go, they were really welcome. Next stop, Cali!

Hey remember to be specific when writing critique. I also prefer the old hud better. It was the one with white texts and building bars (it doesn't have to have them though). It was pretty clear and cool looking. Maybe you could have a couple of huds where people could choose the one they prefer if possible. Hi fellows! I'm spending my summer on USA and Canada this time. Cities will be Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto and Miami. I'll be staying one week in each city in different host families. Now, if you have any suggestions what I should do in those cities I'd appreciate your help. This may not help you at all but this is all I got 1. Do not think what you could have done or not done. Do not think how everything could be different by choosing different paths because simple fact is that anyone would have done everything exactly the same way under the same circumstances. 2. Do never start thinking there's people better than you. That's simply unnecessary as there is and will be always somebody better and worse than what you can ever be in any single thing you can imagine.

LOL. It's nice these people have 'good' memories. I never really read Renegadeforums but once I saw this big fight between ack and Renardin. You would never think these things turn out to be this fun!

C&C TD was the first game in my family computer along with Worms. As we didn't have any other games we played the ones we got really much. Still remember how Nod had this hard core level (at least for a kid, mission 5??) where you only had couple of guys in your team and you had to steal a box from GDI base and escape with a chinook. Great memories.

Does anyone remember server called seven or something like that? It had 14 ppl limit and I liked playing little games like that. It had it's own unique group of players and teamwork was guaranteed. Nowadays I prefer servers that doesn't have any new extra stuff like ability to revive building or buy any vehicle you want, no time limit and make any vehicle stealth. I hate to say but those ´features´just ruin the gameplay. :unsure:

I can still remember getting ADSL connection for very first time and starting to play Renegade immediately. As it was my first internet online multiplayer game I was thinking that there will be many great multiplayer games just like this one after a couple of years. I can't describe how wrong I was. Now, 6 years later I still haven't seen anything even nearly as good as it is.

Yes I agree, pretty good comment(s). I'm putting here my thoughts just because I wanna keep dreaming and share it with others Ok, it's true the screen lasts only for like ten seconds and there's maybe no space for extra screen. So maybe it would be good idea to make something like they did in Wolfenstein: ET where they have multiple screens which you can switch, you have one showing experiences, one showing awards people have gotten etc. Scorelist could also be scrollable couldn't it? In ET they also have option to chat which is really nice. I sense recording could be the biggest problem. First we have to think what to record. I think buildings getting destroyed is always something that gets your epinephrine running. So, what I can quickly think of there's 3 main ways to destroy them. 1. Tanks or inf 2. C4s 3. Ion/nuke I take it you could approximate that every building is quadrangle so it has 4 walls each pointing different way. Now, you could have one camera on every wall and one inside near where you put all the c4s. For tanks you could setup the cameras to record whenever building has been under attack (constant attacking, health bar going under 50%, etc) and to point to the attackers. For c4s you could make inside camera to record whenever c4s are put to the right place and for ion outside cameras could record whenever there's a beacon placed near the building. Whenever building is destroyed it could stop recording and save maybe 5 seconds of actions. If end game screen lasts 10 seconds there could be two 5 seconds videos running after each other or maybe there could be switchable whole screen for videos (maybe 4 videos rolling at the same time, where one video lasts for 10 seconds for instance). Video choosing could be random or desided by specific rules (ion > c4s > tanks). Also, if no buildings are destroyed you could have the video screen showing Renegade X trailer or something. Possible problems could be: 1. Video recording is hard to code I know nothing about coding so I guess it is. Maybe it's even impossible in games like UT3 who knows? 2. Video takes a lot of space/requires a lot from the server machine I still don't know anything about coding but I do know that somehow they managed to do it even in earlier versions of NHL. 3. No matter how perfectly coders you have you may end up having videos showing blank wall, blue screen or whatever Yeah that's the case in NHL too, I mean sometimes all you see is just blank post of the goal. But to be honest if I can see even 1 good replay in 10 replays, watching them has been worth it especially if they are in different swappable screen so you don't have to watch them if you don't want to. I wanna say again I don't want people wasting time to make this happen for the first versions, either. That's it for now, I'll keep dreaming...

Well, I think if you buy something cheaper than 1000 credits Havoc, it shouldn't be balanced to be exactly as good as Havoc but relatively good.
