I playing this game since a year, and I usally dont command games. But sometimes I try it, and I asked myself how I can be a better commander? What makes a good commander and do you have tips for newb commanders?

why is "Snow" no custom map? I like it much more than "Snow-X"

plz not, for sneaking it is sometimes very important to place proxys in enemy buildings it is a horrible idea, because it makes defending for example on field very hard with mines. if a feature would added like that, I would stop to try defending via mining in tuns... the reason why I ask for more mines was, on field I tried to defend the bar in tuns, but I felt like I was just the whole time running to get 3 mines and is not really fun to run the whole time between tuns and PT, I wanted to do other things too

a great feature, which makes it much easier to mine. could you please also increase the mines which a hottie/tech has to for example to 5?

I did that because we lost our GT and everything I tried to do failed because of lags and I had low FPS because I watched a stream by the way And BTW I mined always our tunns and ref/pp

hello guys, today I had again a lag problem during playing on FPI after ~1hrs desolation. the lag was hardly during driving and shooting with ANY TANK, for me it was nearly not possible to play, with inf it was imperceptible. I heard several theories why there is the issue: - it is the server (FPI) - it is the engine UE3 - it is the map (I dont think so) - it is a problem from my hardware/software Is it a issue from my site and what can I do to fix it?

Some of the old radio commands are muscle triggered and I wish some of them back. (ctrl+7 Affirmitave, ctrl+9 Im in position << in my opionion very useful) When I am honest with myself, some of them I rarely use and some are not needed anymore since Q-spot (I love that thing), e.g. "enemy spotted" (who? what? where?) "building needs repair" (which one?) are not necessary anymore. But some radio commands I miss and would be very cool, examples: - (Loosing...) MINES (...missing) --- It is annoying to type that always in team chat - Inf/Tank RUSH INC and/or Enemy buffed - Sneaker building XYZ (I dont know how to make it short enough) - Stand still for repair (inf/tank) - C4 detected (on tank/or inf)

since the patch, on map change I have strange behaviour of RenX. It freezes and I cant do anything anymore in the game, I must force to close it via taskmanager. after killing both processes, RenX and RenX launcher, I cannot join a server, it starts and freezes and I have to kill it via taskmanager again. only thing that currently worked was to reboot my PC, then it was possible to play one game and than I had the same thing again any ideas what I have to do to fix it?

most of the radio commands I dont really think about it and just use them, because I use them since the originals Renegade, I would be very happy if the old layout comes back //edit: changed a bit my opinion: some of the commands are not really used and can be removed, but some of the are just used by habit. maybe it is the next step...

maybe it is necessary to decide what kind of game renegade-x should be. - is it a remake of the old renegade with all its strengths and weaknesses? I think the maps are very good remakes of the old ones, and I think the developers/mappers made good work from that kind of view if you want to have it as close as possible on the original renegade from 2002 - or should it be more independently and make the next step of renegade? some steps made in this way, with extended map versions like FieldX. I think thats the future for renegade-x and to get more balance.
